See v1 for description. Upgraded the v1 deck, shoutout to the folks on the Shiranui Discord for the helpful tips/suggestions. Side deck are other cards I'm currently experimenting with. Still wondering how this deck would play if I:
- Went up to 60 cards
- Included the Goblin Zombie package
- Included the P.U.N.K. package
- Included a ghost fusion / duke of demise package
- Included the new Spirit Shield / Spirit Illusion cards from Maze of the Master
- Included Vendread + Dark Necromancer package
- Included an Ancient Fairy Dragon package
- Included a Maliss or Thunder Dragon package as well.
- Gren Maju?
- Went full-send on the necroface banish-mill instead of leaning more towards Zombie World / D.D. Post engine for beatdown by combo-ing with skill drain.
But this is kinda where I stopped building v2. There's a lot of 2-of's in the build because having your starting hand crammed with multiple starters of the same kind (Ex. 2 Uni-zombies or multiple Curse of the Ancient Turtle) is actually disadvantageous because if you normal summon one and it gets ashed or impermed and you have 0 extenders then you're kinda cooked.
Also I've cut down the shiranui package to as small as I can get it while still having the Necroface mills have a decent chance of generating card advantage by milling a shiranui into banishment.
Other changes:
- Added 1 more delta of temptation to balance out set rotation and because it's a great starter/extender with the free token it generates.
- Added 1 Vulcarrion and 1 Mezuki to help as extenders.
- Added psy-framelord omega, F.A. Dawn dragster, and chengying to the extra deck. Chengying is a great boss monster for this build because of how often you banish cards and how massive he gets with all the necroface mills / doomking banishes / his own banish effect.
- Also added in Flying Mary, the Wandering Ghost Ship as an extender. Really easy to make and super helpful for retrieving a high level zombie that you accidentally banished or that is stuck in the GY without another clear way to revive. Really helps with playing through hand traps if your starter got ashed/impermed.
- Added Skill Drain and Rivalry of Warlords because they're funny floodgates. Skill Drain in particular works super well with D.D. Post because even your small monsters get massive attack boosts from Post.
