Master Duel Arena

Configure your Arena Draft settings below to customize your draft experience.

Toggle showing of UR cards in the draft. Users may want to disable this setting if they want to save their UR craft points in Master Duel.

Toggle the UR fairness rule. When URs are enabled, we have a hard limit of 5 URs per draft. Disabling this opens potentially allows unlimited URs in your draft.

Toggle forcing Main Deck cards in the draft. By default, users are required to draft 40 Main Deck cards.

Toggle forcing Extra Deck cards in the draft. By default, users are required to draft 15 Extra Deck cards.

Toggle Highlander mode. Highlander mode allows you to draft only 1 copy of each card (ensure your cube has sufficient number of cards).

Toggle Arena Helper. Arena Helper will use our logged pick rate data to show the pick percentage rate of each card. This is Card Pool specific.

Rarity Weights: Configure the weight of each rarity in the draft. A higher weight means a higher chance of that rarity being picked. A total of 100 is required and to maintain this total, the rarities (from Common upwards) will automatically be adjusted if total value falls below 100.

Welcome to the YGOPRODeck Master Duel Arena Draft System

This system, inspired by the Hearthstone Arena from the Hearthstone video game, allows you to draft a Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel deck. Your goal is to construct a deck of 40 Main Deck Cards and 15 Extra Deck cards to form a complete "arena deck".

Card Rarity Weightings

Cards are selected based on their Master Duel rarity, with a specific weighting system:

• Common: 50% chance
• Rare: 30% chance
• Super Rare: 15% chance
• Ultra Rare: 5% chance

Note: There is a hard limit of 5 Ultra Rare cards per deck should you end up drafting 5.

Main Deck and Extra Deck Rotation

The draft alternates between Main Deck and Extra Deck cards. You'll pick 8 Main Deck cards followed by 3 Extra Deck cards, repeated 5 times.

Deck Score Calculation

Your deck score is calculated based on the rarity of each card:

• Common: +5 points
• Rare: +10 points
• Super Rare: +15 points
• Ultra Rare: +20 points

There is also a +5 point bonus for each play set (x3 copies) of a card in your deck.

Leaderboard

You can submit your draft to the arena leaderboard once you are logged in and have completed your draft. You can only submit drafts that have the default draft configuration settings. Modifying the draft configuration will make the draft ineligible for the leaderboard.

Cube Card Pools

The system supports searching for a current YGOPRODeck Cube to pull the Card Pool from. This system is not 100% foolproof. If the card pool does not have sufficient Master Duel rarities (for example if you created a Cube specifically full of non-Master Duel available cards) then the arena draft will fail. Please verify the cube contents first.

Running out of Rarities

If the card pool is small, and you happen to eventually run out of a specific rarity during your draft (Ultra Rare for example) then the draft will attempt an automatic re-search on a lower rarity. it will keep doing this until it eventually finds cards to present. If it exhausts all rarities, then it will fail.
