Welcome to my Suship build!

Okay, I know what you're thinking: "Why are there Floodgates in an XYZ spam deck."
And my answer to that is... the current format called for it.
That said, I added a Synchro line in the Sidedeck that I'll go into briefly, but for now... Suships.

Suships are your run-of-the-mill Rank 4 XYZ spam, only better because it's literally sushi in the form of a battleship... that can OTK.
Star players being literally all of the ships, it's not difficult in the slightest to bring out the fleet turn 1. If anything, it's going to be your primary endboard.
Here's the breakdown:
[Gunkan Suship Shirauo-class Carrier] acts as your searcher for any of the Suship Spell/Traps. Gonna be completely honest, the only ones you'll be looking for are most likely going to be the Field Spell or the Trap. However, using Shari as a material nets you a draw like the other Suships XYZ, but in this case it's definitely worth going +2 if you want a decent follow-up. Also, Carrier grants immunity to your Suship XYZ monsters so long as there is ANY Field Spell online (imagine the mental gymnastics your opponents face deciding on if they really need that Spell out) as well as a slight boost in ATK to any Suship XYZ on the field based on their DEF.
One thing to note is that this effect stacks. So, having 3 Carriers on the field is actually a viable strategy considering your XYZ monsters are gonna be HUGE. Pair that with their effects and... well... you'll see what I mean.
[Gunkan Suship Ikura-class Dreadnought] acts as your beatstick. Same deal as all the other ships, making it with the corresponding materials will allow this monster to attack twice in a single Battle Phase and also net you 1 draw. However, it has a fun ability that allows this card to destroy 1 card on the field so long as any of your ships inflict damage. Also stackable! I know!
[Gunkan Suship Uni-class Super Dreadnought] acts as your negate. This one is a little specific though. As usual, making it with the corresponding materials will net you 1 draw and allow for this card to attack your opponent directly. As for the negate, it's really strong, but easily counterable. You're granted 1 face-up card negate per Suship XYZ monster you have on the field. It is an Omni-Negate that persists even if Super Dreadnought isn't on the field. So deliciously annoying, lol. Only caveat is that you can freely negate during the Main Phase of your turn and only during the Battle Phase of your opponent's.
With their powers combined, you have a near-indestructible armada of culinary masterpieces that can render a board virtually useless assuming you're timing the effects correctly. In that, I mean sometimes you'll catch an Ash or Veiler before you can get your full board going, which is fine. All that matters is getting your ships on the field and causing some serious damage.
If all else fails, you have some choice picks for alternative XYZ monsters. All of which are meant to be equally as annoying.
Notable mentions are:
[Number F0: Utopic Draco Future]
[Time Thief Redoer]
[Tornado Dragon]
And of course, you have the Link lines which are more insurance than anything else.
If you can manage getting both [Promethean Princess] and [Overlay Network] on the board at the same time, you've pretty much won. Both cards will ensure that there won't be a single Suship XYZ you won't be able to access in the Extra.

Lastly, the Sideboard. I discovered some interesting Synchro tech that made for some diverse gameplay for this archetype.
Using Ringowurm as your primary Tuner and being able to, essentially, Special or Normal Summon the Shari Normal Monster, you get a free special summon from the hand into a quick Level 6 Synchro extender.
[Revolution Synchron] can grant you a free [Clear Wing Synchro Dragon] and then a great follow-up into [Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon] or any other Level 10 Synchro you might have in your arsenal.
[Psychic End Punisher] also makes for a choice pick here.
Regardless, definitely give it a shot if you're not looking into dragging out games for 20 turns with the initial Floodgate strategy.
-
In conclusion, this is my second favorite archetype of all time and I'm so glad that it has got some attention over the last couple of XYZ events. It's definitely a super-budget friendly deck where you could throw literally anything at the wall and it'll stick 8/10 times.
So, start your new career and become a Suship Chef today!
