The Spirit Archetype works by normal summoning spirit monsters, which can be used during battle, then returns to the hand at the end of your turn. There are advanatages and disadvantages to this. Advantages are you can keep the card advantage since your opponent can't get rid of your cards if you have none out. Disadvantage is you have no protection from being OTKed. This happens rarely, however, i've included some cards that can help you survive next turn. This deck's boss monster "Kutsunagi" can shuffle all the cards on the field, grave, and banish. Since most players tend to lean towards using all of their cards to build boards, this can help even the playing field. The downside is it shuffles yours as well, however since you can put the monster back at the end of your turn back into your hand there is essentially no cost. Alot of these cards i've included helps you with this idea. Dark Ruler No More negates your opponent's monsters so your Kutsunagi can resolve its effect. You can also summon Number 75 with Terrortop and Carturbo. Which can change the opponent's mosnter effect so your Kutsunagi can resolve its effect or if you want, you can bait out their Ash or Hand Trap if you start with Terrortop. Going to Time Tearing Morganite, a card that allows you to draw more cards giving you more advantage. and allowing you to normal summon twice. Which is good since Kutsunagi requires 1 normal summoned monstrer as tribute. On that note, I have Talents and Thrust in case your opponent activates a hand trap monster, you can go and search for Soul Exchange to tribute off your opponent monster or bait their effects out. Since most players don't run level 5 or 6 tribute monsters, you dont have to worry about your Kutsunagi being tributed off. In the offcase it does, you can still trigger its effect and resolve it before your opponent tributes it off. Slash Draw sends cards to the GY, which draws a card, very useful in combination with Izanami, which takes a spirit monster out of the GY, allowing you to search and also have a chance to pull Slash Draw, which can OTK your opponent as well. Clashing Soul allows you to increase your attack in-case you can't attack over a monster thats unnaffected by card effects. Pair that with Terrortop and Carturbo Effect in the GY, to gain an additional 800 attack, you'll have 3800 attack for Kutusnagi. If you are opening hand 1, I suggest XYZ into Exciton Knight which is like Zeus in a way, Bamboozling for when your opponent tries to start a one card monster combo and S:P Little Knight which banishes 2 monsters making Exciton Knight's Effect resolve more better. Any combination of the two with S:P Little Knight is a good way to minimize damage during the opponent's second turn. If you XYZ into Time Thief Redoer you can more than likely go into Zeus on the same turn.
Tips: Carturbo Effect can turn off the effects of monsters that you summon that aren't wind, so you might want to special summon it last or hold it in your hand for later. Lastly, if you link off Nikitama, you can draw 1 card as well as it counts as being used as effect material for XYZ monster.
I'll post a video showcasing this deck as soon as possible, bear with me.
