OVERVIEW:
Here is the third and final decklist used in the video. All of them were built with some very loose Gem/Crafting Point "restrictions" to fit with the theme we were going for, and this one is the definitive worst one out of the three.
This deck is basically an amalgamation of a bunch of janky Dinosaur pack-filler, with a portion of the mainstream package stuck on top to try and hold it together.
GAMEPLAY:
The gameplan here is basically non-existent. There was an initial attempt to make the Vernusylphs synergize with the Transcendosaurus package -with their whole GY-centric gimmick and what not-, but with such an inefficient Main Deck backing them, and especially with the 2 main Sauruses unable to be properly summoned to be revived in this list, that idea is just that; an idea.
What you’re relegated to doing is basically just your best impression of an OTK strategy: You try your best to summon as many big monsters as you can manage and start swinging, with, at best, a Doodlebook Trap and/or a Doodlebeast Tyranno backing you.
The key cards here are basically just the ones that can accomplish the most individually:
-Animadorned Archosaur and the Pill cards are pretty much the #1 thing you wanna go for every turn, as they’re the main way to get to all your payoffs that are actually decent.
-The Doodlebeast package is the #2 thing you wanna go for, especially turn 1, since they’re the most self-sufficient part of the deck and a live Doodlebook is about the best you can manage for a turn 1 board.
-Mighty Dino King Rex is your primary win-condition, as it’s simply a pretty good beater which can enable some OTKs.
-The Transcendosauruses are mainly there to be half-decent beaters, but Gigantozowler offers some decent recovery/extension, Drillygnathus can be an OTK enabler under the right circumstances, and Glaciasaurus can maybe perhaps possibly be something that you use to give your turn 1 boards some stick if you open just right.
-Frostosaurus is not here because he’s actually important to the deck, I just need to make sure to tell you to take this card out of the deck. The 2 main Transcendosauruses that you want to summon cannot actually be brought out properly, so their revival effects that require a vanilla in the GY are irrelevant. The only use you will have for this card is if you somehow manage to both hard-summon one of the other Sauruses and have a use for the revival effect at the same time which will only happen once in a blue moon -I still pulled it off in the video B) -
The rest of the deck is just a bunch of garbage slapped on to try to give it more consistency/give it some more payoffs.
This deck is basically completely worthless, which is exactly what it was meant to be, so overall, mission accomplished.
Transcendosauruses are sick though, we’ll have to look into them in the future.
Thank you for watching!
