Power: High Rogue (8.0/10) - This remains one of the strongest Link Evolution-legal identity decks, but the score is lower than the old version because current TCG legality removes Guardragon Elpy and Borreload Savage Dragon. The deck still has real rogue strength through Rokket Tracer, Quick Launch, Starliege Seyfert, Absorouter Dragon, Tempest, REDMD, Hieratic Seal and Borrelsword pressure.
Consistency: Excellent. Starliege Seyfert, Quick Launch, Rokket Tracer, Absorouter Dragon, Dragon Ravine, Dragon Shrine, Foolish Burial, One for One and World Legacy Guardragon give the deck many ways to start or extend. The mini Chaos package of Black Dragon Collapserpent, White Dragon Wyverburster and Chaos Dragon Levianeer keeps the Dragon Link identity intact without relying on post-Link Evolution cards.
Ceiling: High for the card pool. The deck no longer has Elpy/Savage lines, but it can still build through Striker Dragon, Guardragon Pisty, Romulus, Hieratic Seal, Quadborrel, Saryuja, Borreload, Borrelsword, Hot Red Abyss, Number 38 and Draco Berserker. Tempest and REDMD give the deck explosive follow-up after the first board is answered.
Recovery: Strong. Absorouter searches Rokket follow-up, Boot Sector Launch converts Rokkets into board presence, Pisty and World Legacy Guardragon revive Dragons, REDMD and Monster Reborn extend through trades, and Tempest turns graveyard resources into another body or search.
Going first/second: Flexible. Going first, the deck wants to establish Hieratic Seal, Hot Red Abyss, Number 38, Draco Berserker or a Borrel link backed by hand traps. Going second, Borrelsword, Borreload, Levianeer, Tempest and the side deck's Dark Ruler No More, Nibiru, Evenly Matched, Gameciel and Pankratops give it credible board-breaking lines.
Choke points: Stop Starliege Seyfert, Rokket Tracer or Quick Launch before the deck reaches Romulus/Ravine or Striker/Boot Sector. Banishing Absorouter or interrupting Dragon Ravine can cut off follow-up. Removing Boot Sector Launch also matters because it turns grindy Rokket hands into real boards.
Key cards: Rokket Tracer, Quick Launch, Absorouter Dragon, Starliege Seyfert, Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Boot Sector Launch, Dragon Ravine, World Legacy Guardragon, Striker Dragon, Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres, Borrelsword Dragon.
Key combos: Seyfert sends a Dragon to search the missing Chaos or extender piece. Quick Launch summons Rokket Tracer, Tracer turns a spare face-up card into another Rokket, and those bodies climb into Striker, Romulus, Quadborrel or Borrelsword. Absorouter sent by Ravine, Shrine, Foolish or Seyfert searches a Rokket. One for One can access Rokket Synchron or Brotaur for extension. Pisty plus World Legacy Guardragon revives a Dragon to keep link climbing. Tempest banishes WIND/Dragon resources for a free body and gives Veldora-style late-game pressure.
