Deckmaster: Mementotlan Dark Blade
Domain Restrictions: DARK // WARRIOR // MEMENTO

Domain Format General Rules:

Singleton Format: Every card restricted to 1 copy per deck.
60-card Format: Each Main Deck must contain exactly 60 cards.
4-player Pods: Each player competes individually in an all-out battle against three opponents.
Deckmaster Restrictions: Each player chooses a "Deckmaster" which dictates the allowed types and attributes for their deck.
Deckmaster Contract: A Deckmaster can be summoned from a designated "Deckmaster Zone" using normal summoning rules. After switching zones, Deckmasters may return to the "Deckmaster Zone," where they start the game.

Mementotlan Dark Blade is the optimal one-card starter for Mementotlan in absence of negates. By accessing the full combo line, Mementotlan will end on a Link-2 (Unchained Soul of Rage) , Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation to revive Mementomictlan Tecuhtlica - Creation King (for pops) , ability to steal a monster using the hand effect of Mementotlan Mace , ability to summon Guardian Chimera using Mementotlan Fusion , pops from Mementotlan-Horned Dragon , and ability to recycle Mementotlan Bone Party using Akihiron. Due to shocking little reliance on the Extra Deck, Mementotlan allow us to stock up on varied forms of Extra Deck utility. Refer to the combo line below:

You may choose to use Mementotlan Goblin as your deckmaster instead. Mementotlan Goblin as a DARK/FIEND allows access to Knightmare and Berfomet the Mythical King of Phantom Beasts which works well with Mementomictlan Tecuhtlica - Creation King to be summoned from Banished. Access to Fiendsmith is also powerful.

You may choose to use Mementotlan Angwitch as your deckmaster instead. Mementotlan Angwitch is better against targetted negate, due to the ability to dodge the effect using tributing effects. Please remember to remove Goblin Biker Dugg Charger if you do use Mementotlan Angwitch as your Deckmaster.

A particular aspect of Mementotlan is its ability to shuffle back all of its monster pieces back into the deck in a "rewind" fashion. This will allow us to perform the combo over and over again, constantly resummoning the Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation , adding the spells/traps from GY to hand using Mementotlan Ghattic or Mementotlan Akihiron.

What do we want our Battle Phase interaction to do?
- Hit every one of our opponents hard

Our Battle Phase Plan consists of two cards: Mementomictlan and Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation. Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation is a huge beater with the ability to attack every monster our opponents controls, and Mementomictlan prevents our opponents from using spell/traps upon attack declaration. Combined, we become a fearsome force that attacks everyone without fear of retailtory Spell/Traps.

To support this strategy, I have included ways to negate or immobilize our opponent's monsters in Book of Eclipse , Dark Ruler No More , and Forbidden Droplet. To make our attacks extremely punishing, I have included Life Hack, Double-Edged Sword and Yaminabe Party.

What do we want our generic monsters to do?
- Keep us alive
- Extra Link material

Because Memetolan is a reliably recursive deck that can execute its combo every turn, the rest of the deck will aim to shore up the places it is weak.

Diabellstar the Black Witch gives us access to removal and a recursive body that comes back when destroyed.

Dark Hole Dragon can activate itself to summon upon the use of Mementotlan monsters that destroy without targetting themselves. It is a fantastic complement to our plans, and can find us Dark Hole.

Lord of the Heavenly Prison and Mana Dragon Zirnitron allow us to find the specific Spells and Traps that we need from our deck.
