This is a Pure Spright Deck. This deck is not meant to be competitive or meta but can still be used in a somewhat competent and playable way. This deck can also be used as a beginner deck, as it is very easy to learn and play! This is a casual deck and is made for fun and playing with friends mainly, as this deck, as of August 2026, is technically not legal in the TCG.
The Main Deck contains all the Spright cards, with both Spright Carrot and Spright Red at 3 copies, although I recommend cutting 1 or 2 copies of each for more space, as they are technically not starters. Spright Gamma Burst, Spright Smashers, and Spright Double Cross can also be cut by 1 or 2 copies for more space for either hand traps or extenders.
Cards I HIGHLY RECOMMEND^[1] you add are 2 copies of Nimble Angler and 3 copies of Nimble Beaver, which are both also inside the Side Deck for consideration. Swap Frog and Ronintoadin are also good cards to add as well for extension and more plays to end up with.
EM:P Meowmine is a great extender and an option to send to the Graveyard with Spright Sprind. Parallel eXceed is also an extender, but BE CAREFUL using it, as whenever you use Spright Starter or Gigantic Spright's effect, you are locked into summoning ONLY Level/Rank/Link 2s for the turn, and Parallel eXceed is a Level 4.
Lightning Crash is a very good card I found recently, which I actually RECOMMEND^[1] adding more copies of, as it can search your main Spright cards such as Spright Blue and Spright Jet, or the disruption cards such as Spright Carrot or Spright Red, and its restriction is negligible, as these cards like Special Summoning from the hand anyways.
Other cards I found useful are the "Blitzclique" cards and archetype, but they can have some "anti-synergy," as some of the cards only allow Special Summoning from the hand for the turn, but we still want to access the Extra Deck in this Deck.
But I found Blitzclique - Steppleader to be a very good card, as it can also be a starter alongside Spright Blue or Spright Jet in hand.
[1] - Ultimately, decided to change the deck list with these cards. More details in the Edit near the very bottom! ^^
For the Extra Deck, Number 29: Mannequin Cat can go into Downerd Magician which can then go into Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder which is a classic, strong combo. Some Summer Summoner is NOT a good card but moreso to give the deck a more "casual" and "pure" feeling. You can swap this alongside some of the boss monsters such as Accesscode Talker and Underworld Goddess of the Closed World with other boss monsters or utility Extra Deck Monsters for more competent choices. I have also added some options you can consider in the side deck such as Number 2: Ninja Shadow Mosquito and Onibimaru Soul Sweeper. (You can even add Toadally Awesome :> )
In the side deck, some options I already stated before, as well as some other "casual" options such as Duel Academy and Judgment of Thunder.
Other, EVEN MORE casual cards such as: the Summoned Skull card Makiu, the Magical Mist, some watt cards like Wattjustment, or these two cards I found called Electrode Beast Cation and Electrode Beast Anion can be added as well, but these cards in particular have some "anti-synergy," as one locks you into only summoning LIGHT Xyz Monsters for the turn. But they can also turn themselves into Level 4, which can be paired with Parallel eXceed so you can add more generic Rank 4 Xyz monsters to the Extra Deck as well.
Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier and Freezing Chains of the Ice Barrier can also be added as a target to send with Spright Sprind and an extender.
Another card which can technically also be considered is Knightmare Corruptor Iblee as she can also be an extender BUT she can also be a floodgate, which I personally dislike, but you can move the cards around as you see fit :)
Lightning Storm and Raigeki are generic board breakers, but I added them for thematical purposes :) you can remove them for whichever cards you want or keep them since they're still good cards in general. And you can also just add generic hand traps like Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring and Infinite Impermanence for a more competent, "meta" deck.
Spright is a very easy deck to learn, which nowadays (as of August 2026) has been powercrept from its prime back in 2022 when it was meta, BUT it is still a very usable, strong, and fun deck to use!
The Deck is mainly a "combo deck" (Decks that play many cards during a turn to set up a board), but the combos aren't too hard to follow, which makes learning this deck very simple, and it makes the deck fun to play as you feel like you are doing a lot!
The Deck's main goal is to use all these Level/Rank/Link 2 monsters in order to create some strong monsters from the Extra Deck onto the field that each have powerful effects or summoning cards like Spright Red or Spright Carrot for some disruption during your opponent's turn.
Your main "starter" (card that allows you to start playing into your "main combo") is, funnily enough, Spright Starter. Alongside Spright Blue and Spright Jet + a normal summonable Level 2 also being starters.
Some other very powerful cards in this deck are Spright Elf (which, as of August 2026, is currently banned in the TCG), which allows you to summon a bunch of "material" (monsters used to summon more powerful monsters) during your turn AND during your opponent's turn. Not only that, but it can protect 2 of your monsters that it points to from card effects that can target.
Gigantic Spright is also your "Archetype's" (classification of a group of cards that usually share a certain part of the same name, in this instance, our archetype is Spright, or have good synergy) main "Boss Monster" (Usually a big monster with a lot of stats and powerful effects. Usually the main end goal for a Deck to summon) AND can be used to extended and to Special Summon any Level 2 from you Deck to the Field. It can also use Link 2s as material to summon this card as well. AND it can also use other Xyz monsters' materials you control for its main effect to Special Summon a monster from the Deck.
And lastly, Spright Sprind is a powerful combo enabler and extender to your main combo and your plays while ALSO being a disruption tool during your opponent's turn with its second effect to "bounce" (return to the hand) a monster on the field.
A sample combo for this deck is as follows (Spright Starter + 1 other "Spright" Monster in hand):
Activate Spright Starter, Special Summon Spright Blue (Make sure you pay the cost of using Starter btw :) in this instance, you will take 1,100 LP of damage). Spright Blue effect on Special Summon to add Spright Jet from the Deck to your Hand. Special Summon Spright Jet from your Hand. Spright Jet effect on Special Summon to add a Spright Spell or Trap from the Deck to your Hand. I usually add Spright Smashers so in this instance we will add Smashers. Xyz into Gigantic Spright. Use Gigantic Spright's effect to Special Summon either Spright Red or Spright Carrot (depends on preference and match up. Can also technically summon Spright Pixies or a Spright that was already used). Link into Spright Elf. At this point, if you have a Spright monster in hand (besides Spright Jet as we already used their effect) you can Special Summon them (You can also Normal Summon if need be, especially if all you have is Jet in hand). Activate Spright Elf's effect to summon whichever Level 2 Spright from Grave so in this instance lets summon Blue back sure. From here, we can go multiple directions. We can Link both regular Spright monsters into I:P Masquerena, we can summon a second Gigantic Spright, or we can go into Spright Sprind. Here, I will choose to Link summon into Spright Sprind. Spright Sprind effect on Special Summon to send EM:P Meowmine from Deck to Graveyard. Set Spright Smashers. Pass.
If you drew an extender, such as another EM:P Meowmine in your opening hand, you can summon her for an extra material on board to Xyz into another Gigantic Spright or another Rank 2 Xyz. OR, if you added the, again, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, Nimble Angler and Nimble Beaver, you can extend WAY further, and the start of the combo will look a little different. You would instead link both Blue and Jet into Sprind, send Angler, which will summon 2 Beavers which can be used as more material for a bigger, and still somewhat pure, board. But in this instance, this is all we have.
In this end board: we have a set Spright Smashers which can banish a monster we control and a monster our opponent controls; Spright Elf which can summon back Spright Carrot or Spright Red to use their on field effects to tribute a monster we control and negate a Spell or Trap OR a monster effect, respectively OR if your opponent controls a monster (which they most likely will since its THEIR turn), you can instead Special Summon a Rank/Link 2 from your Graveyard which could be Gigantic Spright or Spright Sprind, hypothetically. PLUS Spright Elf will protect 2 monster it points to from getting targeted by card effects; and if you have an Xyz monster with material on the field, Spright Sprind can also bounce a card whenever Spright Elf summons a monster using their effect; and if you instead went the I:P Masquerena route, you can Link Summon during THEIR turn in the Main Phase into an interruption like S:P Little Knight to Banish a card or Underworld Goddess of the Closed World to use a monster THEY control as a material.
Overall, Spright is a very easy deck to learn and very fun to use! I hope you enjoy!
NULL. SEE EDIT BELOW. Again, I still HIGHLY recommend adding Nimble Angler and Nimble Beaver into the Main Deck as they are VERY good in this deck and don't really take away from its "Pure" feeling. I just didn't include them myself in the Main Deck, as I truly want to make the main gist of the Deck be PURE first and foremost, and you can adjust it for whatever you see fit! :D NULL. SEE EDIT BELOW
Edit: ULTIMATELY, decided to add both Nimble Angler (2) and Nimble Beaver (3) into the Main Deck!!! Decided that they're mostly extenders and don't really change or take away from the pure aspect of the Deck. You can always remove them if you wish to keep what I had previously, like the 3 Allure of Darkness and 2 Raigeki; changed some ratios: Spright Gamma Burst 3 -> 2; Spright Double Cross 2 -> 1; Spright Pixies 1 -> 2; EM:P Meowmine 2 -> 3; Lightning Crash 1 -> 3; removed Blitzclique Alternator from Main Deck; can still be considered; moved Recycling Batteries from Main Deck to Side Deck; removed Judgment of Thunder from Side Deck; added Dark Eruption to Side Deck for consideration; grammar and spelling errors
