Second version of my Grinder Golem control deck.
I cut out options like running the VFD package and Millennium-Eyes with instant fusion to open up needed space in the extra, as their value didn't justify their inclusion. Knightmare Phoenix was also cut because you already run enough backrow removal to save up on the 1 extra-deck slot, and it does quite literally nothing going first.
Some other tech cards like Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder and Topologic Zeroboros were on earlier builds of this, but they don't get enough value every game and can end up hurting you more than your oponents, as you will usually be the guy with the most stuff on the field.
Notable cards that aren't included but are probably good enough to warrant experimentation are Topologic Gumblar Dragon instead of Unchained Abomination as your I:P target, a Summon Sorceress line into Borreload Savage Dragon if you feel like you're naked when passing on 0 omni-negates (slotted instead of Time Thief Redoer), or Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon instead of the DPE package for the same reason (although i like the draw 2 from celestial very much).
Other than that, most of the changes were main deck tech cards that I feel fit more smoothly into your gameplan, and extra FLOODGATES to make that for-fun format experience even more enjoyable.
Here's how the deck usually plays out, taken from my previous post:
"For your full combo, you just need any 1 discardable card in hand. The rest is extra/uneeded for your standard line.
You may notice that this deck is playing little to no extenders, and that would be because you do not need them. Any card in your hand that isn't a power staple, floodgate, or hand-trap is undesirable, as this deck has almost flawless consistency, besides some truly god atrocious hands where you draw every single orcust/phantom knight in a deck of 60 cards.
Player position is very important for your combo due to the link arrows, so keep that in mind when choosing where to sit on the table."
I will probably make a video showing the standard lines later, but rn idk the best way to format it or in what platform I would play it out.
But other than that, thanks for reading it out, and remember to always draw Babel.
