Somebody at Genesys HQ has a vendetta against both of these strategies, I swear; their key cards are so highly pointed for the little impact they have overall. It's to prevent them both from being shoved in everything, I know. But I dream of a day when our pathetic crew of Gobbos can ride free of having Grand Entrance costing so damn much.
The end-board going full-combo is pretty slick-- Gabonga is good piece of removal, as it Dark Knight Lancer. If you can swing it, you can turn either of them into a Zeus too. The problem is playing through interruption. The deck CAN do it, but it has a common problem of being weak to Ghost Ogre, Skull Meister, AND D.D. Crow who are either cheap or free as hand-traps. If you can get to Gabonga though, it's all doable. He searches Dugg, Dugg can detach a material to summon itself, and you can search either of the Goblin spells. In either case, using Entrance to search for another name and detach to summon it, or using breakout and tributing Dugg for Clatter, you'll have material for the XYZ Armor line. Which, and I say this as its biggest fan, is cruisin' for a bruisin' in terms of points. Armor XYZ can go in almost anything and it's FREE. We'll see how long the gravy train runs...
The P.U.N.K. cards are not what I want them to be. Is searching Rising Scale off of Ogre Dance and then banishing Ogre Dance to summon Rising Scale to summon a level 3 from deck super tight? Of course it is! Is it also supremely interruptable? Of course it is. Not having space for Emergency Teleport hurts, man. There's lots of room to cut here. Ditch the Imperms or Zeus and you suddenly have room for Dragon Drive. But 25 points for a single E-Tele is just not a good call.
