Dimension Dragons of Zarc

The goal of this deck is get one of the Supreme King Gates into your pendulum zone, then summon Supreme King Gate Magician to search one of the trap cards and summon Z-Arc. Your Supreme King Gate cards can be searched by scaling Supreme King Gate Magician, or by summoning Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm. The latter can be done using the normal summon, or by sending it to the graveyard with an empty field. Supreme King Dragon Lightwurm is your best high pendulum scale, and can be used with another level 4 monster to summon a level 4 synchro monster or a level 7 for a rank 7 xyz monster (using its scale effect for the latter). Destrudo is an alternative target for Dragon Shrine, since Darkwurm won't work in the graveyard with a monster on the field. Clear Wing Synchro Dragon should normally be banished with Soul of the Supreme Celestial King, but can also be summoned off a level four and an Ash Blossom or Destrudo. Supreme King Gate Infinity is not normally run in this deck due to its restrictive pendulum effect, but I chose to run it in order to use Gate Zero's effect to search a fusion spell such as Super Polymerization or Destiny Fusion. Effect Veiler is chosen over Imperm because it can be used with a level 7 monster to synchro summon. Radian is chosen over other Kaijus because its attribute allows it to be banished from the grave to summon a Chaos monster, removed with Super Polymerization and Starving Venom, or Pendulum Summoned even if Darkwurm is in the scales, and its level is also useful for xyz summons should you pendulum summon it. Odd Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon is chosen over other "Pendulum Dragon" monsters because it is a level seven, has good stats and pendulum scale, and is a normal mosnter that can be sent to the grave with Dragon Shrine for free deck thinning. Supreme King Odd-Eyes is intended to be Special Summoned from the deck using the non-negated Z-Arc from Soul of the Supreme Celestial King. Odd-Eyes Arcray Dragon can be summoned in place of the negated Z-Arc from Soul of the Supreme King should your opponent try to play around it by avoiding the use of spell cards, and it its name clause allows you to keep the trap in the grave online indefinitely. Book of Eclipse and Book of Moon are interesting experimental inclusions because they can turn a Z-Arc summoned with Soul of the Supreme King face down, allowing its Raigeki effect to go off without being negated. It will then not return to the extra deck on your end step, nor will it be negated if flipped face up again. Some of the Side Deck cards, including Destiny Hero Plasma, the Chaos monsters, and Supreme King Clear Wing, are included for only testing purposes rather than as serious options for tournament play.
