Ebon sun is just a cool recycling card.  

Shining Flare Wingman helps recycle extra deck stuff, or stuff that is hard to get back. 

Do think about Barricadeborg Blocker if you need it.

Cards that discard for ebon sun at a glance:
dark magician girl, new dark magician (spell only), super poly, and vision.
Almost everything searches new dark magician...
Ebon sun can kinda help in the long run with life points and stuff adding a bit more grind game to this already pretty solid OCG meta deck.
Is it better than the other versions? In some ways yes, in others no. Overall, no. You should probably be running the OCG lists instead. Not saying this is a weak deck though.
