Covenant of the Black Sun

Covenant of the Black Sun is a fast, competitive Dark Magician deck built around getting Dark Magician into the GY or onto the field, then turning it into immediate Fusion pressure. The main consistency shell is Preparation of Rites → Illusion of Chaos → Magicians’ Souls / Magician’s Rod, backed by Soul Servant, The Gaze of Timaeus, and Dark Magician of Destruction.

The deck does not try to grind slowly with trap-control. It wants to establish Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, Dark Magician of Destruction, or another Dark Magician Fusion, protect that boss with hand traps/Imperm, then finish through Selene → Accesscode Talker.
