5: Each player chooses 1 Skill Card before the Duel and places it face-down in front of them. (Players will declare the Character Name when placed face-down).
6: Flip a coin at the start. The winner gets to choose to go first or second. If you go first, don’t draw a card on your first turn.
7: Each player draws the top 4 cards from their Deck for their starting hand
8: The remaining rules of play follow the Official Yugioh Rulebook: https://www.yugioh-card.com/en/rulebook/
Drafting Rules:
1: The 288-card cube is assembled by shuffling all of the Monsters, Spells, Traps, & Skills cards together.
2: 24 packs of 12 cards each are randomly assembled & each of the (8) players are given 3 packs to draft.
3: To draft: Look at the 12 cards you opened and pick 1 to keep for your pool. Pass the 11 remaining cards to the player on your left.
4: They choose 1 card from the stack you passed them, keep it for themselves, and pass the remaining 10 cards to the player on THEIR left, and so on.
5: Each player takes 1 card to keep, then passes the remaining cards to the person on their left. Keep going in a circle until the last cards are taken.
6: Packs are being passed simultaneously! As you pass your 11 initial cards, the player to your right is passing you the remaining 11 cards from their pack.
7: After the first pack is drafted, everyone should have 12 cards in their pool.
8: Now, open your next pack. Just like before, choose 1 of them to keep and add it to the cards you’ve already drafted. Pass the remaining cards to your RIGHT.
9: After passing the second batch of cards, everyone has 24 cards. Each player opens their remaining pack. Repeat as above, passing to the LEFT again.
10: Once all cards are drafted, each player will have 36 cards in their card pool. Use these 36 cards to build a Deck & Sideboard following the rules above.
