Hello YGO fans!

Unlike many other of my decks this one had thought put into it (lol, I used to just make Mashup decks on a rainy ay cause I'd nothing better to do). Now I, like most duelists, have mixed feelings about POTE, because, though I always love new cards and new formats, Splights & Tearlaments are extremely powercreepy & Splights might even tiptoe towards Tier Zero (and once the Ishizu cards come out the same could be true for Tears).

But like the old saying goes, if you can't beat 'em join 'em. So if you can't beat Tearlaments, join Tearlaments (go to hell Splights).

This deck should be fairly recognizable. Humble Branded Despia players will know the combo so I'm pretty sure I don't have to sit here and say "Use Branded Fusion to send Albaz & Tragedy..."

However I should explain Darklords, & with that explanation comes me telling you that typically your to NOT (when using this deck in particular) send Trag with Branded Fusion, instead you'll be sending Archlord Kristya to make Albion, then with Albion make Mirrorjade. See Darklords is just an engine to make The First Darklord, which has a effect to reborn your dumped Kristya to lock your opponent from specialing.

This should be an easy concept to grasp. And though the deck sometimes won't have a god hand and won't be able to make The First Darklord to sum Kristya, it will still be able to use not only Despian & Albaz cards but also Tears in order to hold down the fort.

Darklord Ixchel should ideally send itself along with Darklord Superbia to draw 2, then later revive Superbia with Darklord Contact. Superbia summons another Fairy, all to get you the materials to make The First Darklord,(your fusion card being the Despian Field) or Condemned Darklord. Like I said sometimes your hand won't be able to make The first darklord, but you still might have a draw 2 & don't forget your friends the Tearlaments!

I admit I'm not yet a Tears master, but I expect those of you aspire to be know at least the basic combos. The field gets you the one you normal summon, and you use that to dump then fuse. The Tears effects, along with Tragedy's, can be triggered by Branded opening, so if you send trag you can grab Ad Libitum or Aluber to do the Mirrorjade+Chimera play, and if you send a Tear you can fuse.

The deck can brick but many times won't. The ratios seemed right to me & work but if you try this out feel free to do whatever, like add a third Despian Field to make it easier to go into the first darklord. Side deck customizable, I just put in stuff.

If you have questions I'll try to answer, if you have suggestions I'll gladly consider, and if you have a comment it's okay to let it out. Pls enjoy & make this deck better any way you can.

Not sure it’d be the next meta, as Sprights still exist, but I’d say it’s probably gonna be the build that gets played before Ishizu Tearalaments

This deck looks pretty cool for a change, but even reading the explanation i can’t figure out what i am supposed to do, i am smol brain. I wonder if there are any video that can explain combo routes for this deck? They are usually pretty helpful

    To Lober:
I’m not too great a combo teacher and I myself dont have a combo video, but I got the Darklord idea from gogata05, a user here, and he has a video in which he duels, revealing what the deck does. This is the link: https://youtu.be/T3yChM3cvy0
Branded Fusion sends Kristya & Albaz to make Albion, then use Albion and Albaz to make Mirrorjade, and you’ll want to make The First Darklord to summon back the Kristya in grave (after you’ve done all your summoning). To make the first darklord you use Despia, theater of the branded (I put 2 of it and terraforming in the deck but you can play 3 to have better chances of seeing it), and the darklords are there as a draw engine and as materials. Tearlaments are there as the other half of the deck; if you already have branded fusion in hand then instead of normaling aluber your normal Reinoheart (note all the tearlaments could be put to 3 if you wish but 2 works) and snowball from there. Tears are really just kind of a snowball engine in the deck that can also work as you win con but really your goal is Kristya. But as I explained, sometimes your hand won’t be able to make the first darklord so then you can resort to Tears and mirrorjade+chimera. This is mainly when you dont see your despian field (note if you have aluber and branded fusion in hand use aluber to search the field).
That’s what I can brief for you if that helps, you might have to learn the deck by yourself mainly, but there is probably other resources that can help. As far as I know I’m the only one who’s come up with this though, and wow to see something I thought up being played competitively . . .
Btw I thank everyone who has checked this deck out and aspires to try it. I’m rather proud to see my deck in the “Hot Decks” category.
It is a rather good idea, isn’t it, though?
It’ll be really cool if this deck is played, for sure.

    Btw everyone!
You can also play the Tears that fuse at 1 each to prevent bricking & in their place play HTs instead!

Finally, I understand Darklords. Nice deck too btw, it’s cool seeing this deck brought back to life since people largely stopped using it(to my observation) once verte was banned. And just a Tearalaments tip since you said you weren’t a master at them yet(I’m not either but I do know this), you might want to experiment with Supreme sea mare as thats their best starter to my knowledge. It does take up a normal summon(can also be special summoned for effect though), it’s an aqua monster that lets you pitch Merrli/Hanvis from the deck so you can go into Kitkalos using it and the sent Tearalaments, Kitkalos pitches Rainoheart, Rainoheart then let’s you Send 1 Tearalaments from your hand to your gy to special summon itself, then lets you send one from the deck to the gy to fusion summon Kaleido Heart.

Yes Soulburst, I actually do know of Sea Mare, I just didn’t put in the deck because it already had a couple normal summons and I didn’t want to brick with too many. But it’s a great option for Tear players to consider, and I myself hope to master Tears one day (and teach Sprites to respect Tears).
