Power: High Rogue (8.4/10) - This is still one of the strongest Yami Yugi identity builds in the Link Evolution card pool. Endymion gives the deck real spell-counter snowballing, multiple negate bodies, Pendulum follow-up, and explosive turns without needing to become a generic meta pile. The current-legal pass removes forbidden Apollousa and Abyss Dweller, trims Called by the Grave and Into the Void to one copy each, and replaces them with cleaner legal pressure through Chicken Game, Upstart Goblin, Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon, Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon, Avramax, and Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos.
Consistency: Very strong for a Pendulum deck. Servant of Endymion, Spell Power Mastery, Spell Power Grasp, Pot of Desires, Chicken Game, Upstart Goblin, Magical Citadel of Endymion, Terraforming, Mythical Institution, and the Mythical Beast package keep spells flowing and counters building. The deck can still lose to awkward scale hands, but most playable openings convert repeated spell activations into bodies and interaction.
Ceiling: High. Servant can turn three spell counters into Jackal King, Mighty Master, Magister, or Reflection lines. Jackal King and Endymion give monster/spell-trap interaction, Norito adds another negate when two Level 6s line up, and Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon can become Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon after being used as Link material. Selene extends through Spellcaster-heavy boards, I:P Masquerena can climb into Avramax, and Borrelsword or BLS Soldier of Chaos can finish games.
Recovery: Good. Pendulum Summoning lets the deck reuse face-up Extra Deck monsters after the first wave, Selene revives Spellcasters, Magical Citadel preserves counters, and Endymion can return spent spells or traps while clearing the field. The risk is that Pot of Desires can banish key singletons, and losing both scales before Pendulum Summoning often forces a slower rebuild.
Going first/second: Best going first, where the goal is to end on layered interaction from Jackal King, Mighty Master, Vortex, Norito, I:P, or Avramax lines. Going second, Master Cerberus, Endymion, Reflection, Borrelsword, BLS Soldier of Chaos, Evenly Matched, Nibiru, Cosmic Cyclone, and Harpie's Feather Duster help break boards before pushing damage.
Choke points: Stop Servant of Endymion before it resolves, remove scales before the Pendulum Summon, or use Droll after the first search/draw to cut off the chain of spell activations. Backrow that prevents spell activation is especially painful. Negating Spell Power Mastery, banishing key Pendulum monsters face-down, or forcing Pot of Desires to resolve after important one-ofs are gone can also blunt the deck's ceiling.
Key cards: Servant of Endymion, Endymion the Mighty Master of Magic, Spell Power Mastery, Spell Power Grasp, Magical Citadel of Endymion, Mythical Beast Master Cerberus, Mythical Beast Jackal King, Magister of Endymion, Reflection of Endymion, Chicken Game, Upstart Goblin, Selene, Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon, Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon, Norito the Moral Leader.
Key combos: Spell Power Mastery searches Servant and immediately starts loading spell counters. Servant with three counters summons itself plus Jackal King, Mighty Master, Magister, or Reflection from deck. Master Cerberus in scale searches Jackal King, then repeated spells turn Jackal King into a monster negate. Two Level 7 Pendulum bodies make Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon, and linking it away summons Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon for an omni-negate. Selene uses the graveyard's spells to revive a Spellcaster and keep climbing. I:P plus another body can make Avramax, while Borrelsword or BLS Soldier of Chaos converts a developed board into game-ending pressure.
