Power: High Rogue (7.6/10) - This remains one of the strongest Yami Yugi identity builds in the Link Evolution card pool. Danger Dark World still has explosive draw/discard chains, hand disruption through Dragged Down into the Grave, and real Extra Deck pressure. The current-legal pass trims Into the Void and Called by the Grave to one copy each and removes Abyss Dweller, so the ceiling is a little lower than the older version, but the core engine is still powerful enough to stay High Rogue.
Consistency: Strong but high-roll. Danger! Mothman!, Nessie, Jackalope, Tsuchinoko, Bigfoot, Thunderbird, Snoww, Broww, Gates, Allure, Dealings, Dragged Down, Card Destruction, Terraforming, and Danger! Excitement! Mystery! keep cards moving. The deck can brick when the Danger hits are awkward, but most hands have multiple ways to turn discards into value.
Ceiling: High. Card Destruction or Dragged Down with Broww, Snoww, Grapha, or Danger monsters can rip through both hands while building bodies. Level 8 Dangers and Grapha make Hope Harbinger, Photon Lord, Dingirsu, or Zombiestein depending on the line, while Saryuja, Borrelsword, Borreload, Topologic Bomber, and Dugares give link-climbing or damage-push finishers.
Recovery: Good. Grapha repeatedly returns by bouncing Dark World monsters, Gates turns Fiends in the graveyard into more draws, Monster Reborn revives a key body, and the Danger monsters keep replacing themselves when discarded. The deck is much worse if its graveyard is locked or if the first discard chain is stopped before Snoww/Broww resolve.
Going first/second: Flexible. Going first, the deck tries to build hand knowledge and pressure with Dragged Down, Card Destruction, Grapha, and Rank 8/link boards. Going second, Bigfoot, Thunderbird, Evenly Matched, Cosmic Cyclone, Feather Duster, Nibiru, Lancea, and Droll help force through established boards.
Choke points: Stop Card Destruction, Dragged Down, or Gates before the draw/discard chain snowballs. Banish Grapha or Snoww before they become repeatable value. Droll hurts once the first search or draw resolves. Graveyard hate and hand traps that stop the first Danger chain can strand the deck with oversized monsters and fewer conversion tools.
Key cards: Card Destruction, Dragged Down into the Grave, Dark World Dealings, Grapha, Snoww, Broww, The Gates of Dark World, Danger! Mothman!, Danger! Nessie!, Danger!? Jackalope?, Danger!? Tsuchinoko?, Danger! Bigfoot!, Danger! Thunderbird!, Allure of Darkness, Number 38: Hope Harbinger, Saryuja Skull Dread, Borrelsword Dragon.
Key combos: Card Destruction discards Broww, Snoww, Grapha, or Danger monsters to draw into more extenders while triggering their effects. Dragged Down reveals both hands, lets you pick the opponent's key card, and can trigger a Dark World discard. Gates banishes a Fiend to discard and draw, turning graveyard setup into more engine. Danger monsters either summon and draw or trigger their discard effects. Grapha bounces a Dark World monster to revive itself, creating repeatable Level 8 material. Dugares gives the deck a Rank 4 draw or damage-push line after Mothman/Snoww/Broww bodies stick.
