These "Branded" Dragons have run through the meta for most of the past 9 months since they released, and they also happen to support Dragons as a Type. "Dragon Link" is a deck that has persisted in the meta for several years, as the overall strength of dragons as a type is incredibly high, and it gets support quite frequently, and their combined synergy culminated in the creation of this amalgamation of a buch of dragons into one list. Recent cards like Bystial Dis Pater and Chaos Angel are excellent additions to the deck, as Dis Pater provides negation and disruption, as well as extension and recursion, this card allows the deck to have a flexible boss monster that also furthers its goal, and Angel gives the deck a on-summon banish, potential monster effect immunity to your Synchro monsters, and potential battle invulnerability to all your monsters, making it a very hard to out monster for many decks.
