Vanquish Soul K9 (Feb. 2026)

Glad to see Konami fix the overcorrection from the last banlist. Razen and Stake coming back are sure to make VSK9 far more threatening, even if they lost a bit of their Turn 0 potential in exchange.

Some notes from the deckbuild process:

• Only 1 Noroi just because it competes too much with Razen and Mad Love for the NS - running multiple Noroi before the banlist made sense then just because there wasn't nearly as much competition, but Razen and Mad Love tend to do more.
• Could possibly argue 2 Borger, I've found myself in positions where I'd like a second one, but not nearly as often as not. Still, could cut a Belle for it.
• Dust Devil still lowkey goated in the sideboard over Snow Devil. Pretty solid searchable breaker.
• I'm just not sold on Jacks - I'd rather have the second Ripper just in case I get extra-ripped over Jacks.
