Power: Low Rogue (6.8/10) - This is cleaner, fully TCG-legal, and still very much a PSY-Frame control deck. It stays Low Rogue because modern limits put PSY-Framegear Gamma and PSY-Framelord Omega at one copy, and the deck still depends on keeping its field clear, finding PSY-Frame Circuit, and reacting to the opponent's actions rather than forcing its own engine every game.
Consistency: Good for a reactive deck. PSY-Framegear Alpha, Terraforming, PSY-Frame Circuit, Pot of Duality, Pot of Extravagance, Emergency Teleport, PSY-Frame Overload, and PSY-Framelord Lambda give the deck several ways to reach either a starter, a field spell, or follow-up. Wind-Up Rabbit fits the Valon armor idea nicely because it can pressure and then banish itself to leave the field open for PSY-Framegear effects.
Ceiling: Moderate-high when Circuit sticks. The deck can turn opponent actions into Gamma, Alpha, Delta, Epsilon, Driver, and immediate Synchro pressure, then convert into Omega, Zeta, Black Rose Moonlight Dragon, Clear Wing, Scarlight, Cyberse Quantum Dragon, or F.A. Dawn Dragster. Lambda keeps PSY-Framegears live even after you control a monster and rewards banished Psychic monsters with End Phase searches.
Recovery: Solid. PSY-Frame Multi-Threader replaces Driver from hand or grave, Overload searches during later turns from the GY, Omega can recycle banished cards, Zeta temporarily removes threats, and Pot of Extravagance/Duality help reload after trading multiple reactive pieces.
Going first/second: Best going first or playing a patient neutral game. The ideal opening is Circuit or access to Circuit, Rabbit or an empty field, and at least one relevant PSY-Framegear. Going second, the side deck brings Nibiru, Evenly Matched, Lancea, Cosmic Cyclone, Twin Twisters, Droll, and Feather Duster for matchups where reactive negation is not enough.
Choke points: Remove PSY-Frame Circuit before it turns summons into Synchros, keep the Valon player stuck with monsters on field so PSY-Framegears cannot activate, banish both Drivers, stop Lambda before the End Phase search, or force the PSY-Frame player to spend the wrong gear early. Pot of Extravagance can also randomly banish key Extra Deck pieces, so sequencing matters.
Key cards: PSY-Frame Circuit, PSY-Framegear Alpha, PSY-Framegear Gamma, PSY-Framegear Delta, PSY-Framegear Epsilon, PSY-Frame Driver, PSY-Frame Multi-Threader, PSY-Frame Overload, PSY-Framelord Lambda, PSY-Framelord Omega, PSY-Framelord Zeta, Wind-Up Rabbit, Emergency Teleport, Pot of Duality, Pot of Extravagance.
Key combos: Wind-Up Rabbit attacks or sits as a safe normal summon, then banishes itself to reopen PSY-Framegear effects. Alpha plus Driver searches another PSY-Frame card, then Circuit can Synchro into Zeta on the opponent's turn. Gamma plus Driver negates a monster effect and makes an immediate Level 8 Synchro if Circuit is active. Delta and Epsilon cover Spells and Traps, which helps the deck trade into removal-heavy hands. Emergency Teleport can put a PSY-Framegear on board for Lambda, and Lambda lets future PSY-Framegears activate even while you control monsters.
