With the first Genesys World Championship over, it's about time Konami started making structure decks for the new format. I was looking around for a fun engine to play when I remembered Ursarctic and it's pal Drytron (who will be linked to later).
Right now, the deck sits at exactly 100 points and only has points in it's support. Ursarctic by itself takes no points whatsoever to play, meaning you can keep the main cards while changing out whatever other cards you want for the points.
If you are unfamiliar with Ursarctic and how it plays, its a Synchro deck with it's main deck monsters that have either level 7 or tuners that are Level 8. You can special summon them from your hand by tributing Level 7 or higher monsters in your hand or field, then getting a on-summon effect. To get your Synchro monsters, you have to send monsters with a level difference (one tuner and one non-tuner) of either 1 or 7 to get your different Synchro monsters. Not only do your two boss monsters (Ursarctic Grand Chariot and Ursarctic Septentrion) have high atk (2700 and 3000) but if summoned by the effect of Ursarctic Polar Star, your opponent can't activate the effects of monsters from the extra deck that have levels. Plus, with Septentrion on the board, your opponent can't activate the effects of monsters special summoned from the extra deck *without* levels. So a Polar Star summoned Septentrion essentially makes your opponent's entire extra deck have their effects unusable!
