With the close of the very first Genesys World Championship behind us, Konami is likely to start printing out structure decks. I was thinking on it and remembered a very fun pair of archetypes, Drytron and Ursarctic (which will be linked to later).
Drytron has been hit a lot more than it's friend Ursarctic in terms of points, but it is still very playable. You can take out a copy of Drytron Alpha Thuban to free up 33 points for more handtraps (which I reccomend in the form of Mulcharmies), but even still, you don't really need to.
In case you are unfamiliar with Drytron, they are a group of Level 1 monsters who cannot be normal summoned/set with 2000 attack points and 0 defense. The only exception are their ritual monsters who have 4000 (or 5000 in Meteonis DA Draconids case). You special summon them by tributing Drytron or Ritual monsters in your hand or field and they can be summoned from the hand or GY. Their ritual spell doesn't go by level, but by attack points and can summon Ritual monsters in your hand or GY. When your Ritual monsters are summoned using a total of 2 or less levels for their summon, they get bonus effects. Their XYZ monster, Drytron Mu Beta Fafnir is a spell/trap negate and can use it's materials as material for your Ritual monster summons.
Both Meteonis and Meteonis DA banish Drytron monsters to interrupt your opponent's cards. Meteonis Draconids sends a face-up card on your opponent's field for every 2000 atk points of Drytron monsters in your GY you banish. Meteonis DA Draconids negates and destroys monsters twice per turn by banishing Drytron monsters in your GY to have an equal or higher total attack of what you are trying to negate. Meteonis Quadrantis is a Harpie's Feather Duster on summon and when destroyed, can revive Drytron monsters with a total of 4000 atk from your GY. On top of that, Meteonis Draconids is immune to being targeted by monsters while Meteonis Quadrantis is immune to being targeted by spells/traps. With Meteonis DA Draconids, he protects your other Drytron monsters from being destroyed by card effects.
GL;HF duelists!
