Are you ready for the second coming of SCYTHE LOCK AKA V.F.D AKA VERY FUN DRAGON AKA TRUE KING OF ALL CALAMITIES?
Well, with the new card from MZMI Transaction Rollback combined with Ghost Meets Girl - A Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga, you can effectively skip your opponent's turn! No more special summoning except from the GY or banished pile! Transaction Rollback copies any normal trap card's effect in the GY for the cheap cost of half of your lifepoints, and Ghost Meets Girl's effect stops any summon from the hand, deck or extra deck!
How do we get these cards in the GY? You either mill them with your various milling options available in Tearlaments, or you can summon Beatrice! Beatrice mills ANY card from deck as a quick effect, so you can easily grab your T-Rollback + Ghost Meets Girl set-up with just two level 6 monsters. This version of Tearlaments is specifically optimized to get you there!
Once you resolve T-Rollback (which is extremely easy in this deck), your win is a hop skip and a jump away into OTK next turn! This "cheap" strategy feels like Scythe Lock or Calamity Lock all over again, and that's because it is! The simple access of an Extra Deck monster (Beatrice) leads to a turn skip that is nearly impossible to stop! Let's abuse this strategy for cheap wins before Beatrice gets banned!

ARCHETYPES AND DECKBUILDING
Forming the core of this strategy, the Tearlament portion of this deck consists of 18 cards. 3 Perlereino allow you to search for the 9 maindeck Tearlament monsters: Scheiren, Havnis, Merrli, 3 Reinoheart and 3 Tearlaments Kashtira. 2 Scream, 2 Sulliek, and 1 Metanoise search/recur for additional cards when milled.
A HORUS package is used mainly for turboing out Zombie Vampire for mills and is composed of 6 cards - 3 Imsety, 1 Hapi, and 2 King's Sarcophagus.
A HERO package is used, composed of 2 Malicious and 1 Denier to enable easy summons of level 6s so that Beatrice can be made. In the Extra Deck, Destiny Hero Dangerous can be fused with any Tearlaments + Destiny Hero and with a discard, that Dangerous by himself forms Beatrice.
A KASHTIRA package of 2 Fenrir and 3 Kashtira Tearlaments are used. Fenrir is simultaneously a combo piece (since it searches for Tear Kash) and a boardbreaker, but only two are used in this deck, since they don't really do anything when milled.
A SHADDOLL package is included to provided extra milling power (Helshaddoll Hollow) and card advantage (Shaddoll Beast).
Finally, the new win condition, TRANSACTION ROLLBACK with its target, GHOST MEETS GIRL are included. Two Foolish Burial Goods are also included for extra consistency and access.
You may have noticed that there are hardly any handtraps or generic staples in this deck. The theory behind this build of Tearlaments is that it has so much gas that it can play through all of your opponent's interruptions just fine, as long as your graveyard is accessible and you aren't floodgated to death.
40 cards are used to ensure this strategy is as consistent and compact as possible. In addition to bricking less, the mills will have much better results than bigger Tearlaments variants because of the deck's compact size.
COMBOS AND GAMEPLAN
Tearlaments' gameplan is to mill as much as possible to trigger graveyard effects. Like every Tearlaments strategy, this deck aims to mill as much as possible and gain beneficial effects from those mills. The reliance on mills makes this strategy unpredictable and luck dependant, meaning that there are hardly any straightforward combos.
There are no straightforward "combos" for Tearlaments due to the random nature of the deck. Combos are hand/mill dependent - leaving the rest of the game up to the duelists individual skill, decision making and mental fortitude (that's the Tearlaments is considered as a difficult to pilot deck). Tearlaments are also infamous for requiring a great deal of skill, since the pilot has to be aware of the various interactions they have in the GY and the amount of cards left in their main deck.
What differentiates this version of Tearlaments from the others is its "instant win button" in the form of Transaction Rollback combined with Ghost Meets Girl. On top of having to deal with all your Tearlament centred interruptions, your opponent will have to deal with a summon lock as well! This essentially spells defeat for your opponent since it's typically an unsalvageable situation for most strategies. For this win condition to be available, both Transaction Rollback and Ghost Meets Girl need to be in the GY, and that can be accomplished by your random mills or by summoning Beatrice. Beatrice setting up this turn skip win con by herself essentially makes her the second coming of True King of All Calamities! XYZ monster -> INSTANT WIN BUTTON!
The level 6s in this deck to summon Beatrice are Garura, Malicious, Dangerous and Shyama. Garura is summoned by fusing two Tearlament girls (it also grants an additional draw when detached from Beatrice). Malicious can be summoned from deck if he is milled. Fusing into Dangerous can also summon Malicious from deck, which allows Beatrice to be made. Shyama can be summoned if milled, and if you set a card to be destroyed so it can summon itself to the field (Also it triggers your Tearlament spell/trap effects!)
GENERAL TIPS
- Remember, two level 6s -> Beatrice -> opponent's turn is skipped. Try as much as possible to get his set up, since that means you basically win the game!
- When forced to go second, you can side out your T-Rollback cards, Shyama, Destrudo, Destiny Hero cards and Shaddoll cards for more blind second cards.
- If you need to get a card out of your hand, Barricade Borgblocker is the perfect card for the job. Also, if you have Shyama in the GY you can set your spell/trap and Shyama can destroy it. A nice bonus with Shyama is that it triggers your Tearlament spells/traps so they can search.
- Since Droll is such a common card this format, try to search first with cards that get you a really valuable combo piece. For example, I would activate Imsety first to search for King's Sarcophagus over something minor like Terraforming -> Perlereino.
- Horus cards are incredible at cracking established boards and can out powerful boss monsters that have negates.
- Another card you can use for Transaction Rollback is Eradicator Epidemic Virus to wipe out your opponent's entire hand of spells and traps. There are other targets for T-Rollback. Experiment and discover crazier ways to abuse the card!
Any Tearlaments strategy is infamous for requiring a great deal of skill to pilot, since the duelists is required to know all the various interactions that goes on in the GY, and to remember how many cards are left in their deck - the while considering how the opponent will react to the plays. This deck is not easy, so practice makes perfect with Tearlaments.

CONCLUDING REMARKS
Not gonna lie, this deck's wins feels extremely toxic and stupidly cheap! Why is Beatrice legal??? Why are turnskips that are normally very hard to access easily accessible???
On top of all the powerful Tearlaments gameplay, a special summon lock with Transaction Rollback renders it impossible for your opponent to even interact! This FTK is consistent due to Beatrice, a card already often made in the strategy. Sometimes, the natural milling that Tearlaments already does creates this set-up as you combo along!
IMO Transaction Rollback is such a ridiculous and stupidly strong card, and Tearlaments is the perfect strategy to abuse this playstyle. I'm personally hoping I don't face any Transaction Rollback decks in the near future, because it's a real pain to duel against.
GLHF Duelists!
