This is a blind go second deck focused on setting up your own small board (usally protos and/or 10lv synchro) through the opponent's board and then killing them in turn 4.
Why should I add these Ryu-Ge cards to my Swordsoul Tenyi deck and why does this deck have 50 cards???????
The short anwer of both of these questions is consistency. The long aswer is that the normal Swordsoul board is not strong or consistent enough though hand traps to be able to go first. But if Swoudsoul can'nt survive hand traps how will it break an opponent's end board? simple, Ryu-Ge and a lot of board breackrs(you also need them you 'bury' the granet and 1.5 bricks you add to the deck from Ryu-Ge).
Ryu-Ge explained:
Ryu-Ge are a filler archtype thrown in the set to make Ryzel and Maliss rarer. Its core field spell is badly designed for a card that has to do one thing that the entire archtype revolvs around it resolving and while playing it feels like Konami forgot to publish half the cards. Now after we admitted the turth we can learn how to bait hand traps with them efficiently
Kairo Ryu-Ge Emva is a garnet. thats it. you need it to activate the field and it continuous spell is so bad it not worth to run it or remeber its name.
Genro Ryu-Ge Hakva is only kind of a brick because you can still activate the first effect of the field spell without it in the deck and it is a wyrm so you can traget it Mo Ye or Longyuan. The continuous( Wyrm Winds) it searchs out is kind of good and its self summon effect is nice and combos with protos's self summon
Kyoro Ryu-Ge Kaiva is a brick. unlike Kairo he has a attribute that can'nt be found on a token you summon anyway so he can make summonning protos a little easier. And while he's continuous spell (Dino Domain) is kinda bad Kyoro can search it out by shuffling himself to the deck for cost so that's why I do not classify him as a garnet.
Sosei Ryu-Ge Mistva is a great tool. he searchs the field(or Wyrm Winds) and if he is the ED face up you get a free 10xzy omni or protos depents how bad you have bricked.
GAME PLAN:
There are 3 main objectives you can try to achive. you need to learn how much to invest in each depending on your hand, your oppenent :
making you own board to stop your oppenent from getting a lead in their turn- this should always be in mind but rarly an priority.
clearing your oppenets board - 90% of the time the first thing you should worry about but it is very importent to not use all your fuel on this.
Setting up a otk or a kill next turn - the most importent goal.
There is no one strat that will every game. sometimes you just need to reach protos at all costs and sometimes going for protos will lose you the game. learn from your mistakes and try to learn the weakness of the meta decks.
