This is a control deck that wins duels through attrition! Grind through your opponent's resources with an onslaught of machines!
Using the Sky Striker Engine
This engine uses Sky Striker Mecha - Hornet Drones and Sky Striker Ace - Kagari to summon Knightmare Phoenix, which can be used as link material to summon Knightmare Mermaid. Knightmare Mermaid's effect allows you to discard 1 card to special summon Orcust Knightmare from your deck, granting access to your Orcust lines. This engine does not use your normal summon and can play Sky Striker Mecha - Widow Anchor as additional disruption if you go first and as a board breaker for when you go second.
In short: Any 2 monsters with different names and 1 card in your hand gives you the full Orcust combo!
The Standard Sky Striker Orcust Combo
Requires Sky Striker Mecha - Hornet Drones and 1 other card in your hand. Sky Striker Mobilize - Engage! can search for Hornet Drones. It's recommended you play an extra Engage search target like Sky Striker Mecha - Widow Anchor for the grind game and to keep Engage live in case you're already drawn Hornet Drones. You can discard any card you don't need with Knightmare Mermaid's effect or Forbidden Droplet.
1. Activate Sky Striker Mecha - Hornet Drones to special summon a Sky Striker Ace token.
2. Summon Sky Striker Ace - Kagari by using that token as link material.
3. Activate Kagari's effect to add the Hornet Drones from your graveyard back to your hand.
4. Activate Hornet Drones again to special summon another Sky Striker Ace token.
5. Summon Knightmare Phoenix by using Kagari and the Sky Striker Ace token as link material.
6. Summon Knightmare Mermaid by using Knightmare Phoenix as link material.
7. Activate Knightmare Mermaid's effect to discard 1 card, then special summon Orcust Knightmare from your deck.
8. Use Knightmare Mermaid and Orcust Knightmare as link material for Galatea, the Orcust Automaton.
You can start your Orcust combos from here. The Orcust Knightmare in your graveyard can banish itself to send a different dark machine monster from your deck to the graveyard and boost Galatea's attack. Sending Orcust Harp Horror to the graveyard is your top priority because it can banish itself from your graveyard to special summon any Orcust monster from your deck.
The Standard Orcust Combo
This combo requires Armageddon Knight or Girsu, the Orcust Mekk-Knight to start. Always summon Girsu first over Armageddon Knight because it has a secondary effect of generating a World Legacy token to both players' fields if you control no monsters. This is important in case you get hit with Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, but need an extra monster to continue playing. You can convert this token into an effect monster by using it as link material for Linkuriboh. Always use a level 1 token as link material for Linkuriboh, because you'd need Link Spider to convert a Nibiru token or level 4 Hornet Drones token into an effect monster in rare scenarios. Foolish Burial can also start this combo by sending Orcust Harp Horror to the graveyard and using its graveyard effect to special summon Girsu from your deck. This combo will use Girsu as an example.
1. Normal summon Girsu, the Orcust Mekk-Knight.
2. Activate Girsu's effect to send Orcust Harp Horror from your deck to the graveyard.
3. Activate Harp Horror's effect to special summon Orcust Knightmare from your deck.
4. Use Girsu and Orcust Knightmare as link material for Galatea, the Orcust Automaton.
5. Activate Galatea's effect to shuffle Harp Horror back into your deck and set Orcustrated Babel from your deck.
6. Activate Orcustrated Babel. Orcustrated Babel makes the effects of all Orcust monsters you control and in your graveyard into quick effects, so it doesn't hurt to activate it ASAP.
7. Activate Orcust Knightmare's graveyard effect to banish itself from your graveyard, target Galatea, and send World Legacy - "World Wand" from your deck to your graveyard.
8. Activate World Wand's graveyard effect to banish itself, then special summon Orcust Knightmare to a zone Galatea points to.
9. Xyz summon Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star by using Galatea as material.
10. Activate Dingirsu's effect to attach the World Wand in your banished zone to it as material.
11. Link summon I:P Masquerena by using Dingirsu and Orcust Knightmare as material.
Your end board now consists of Orcustrated Babel and I:P Masquerena and the effects of all your Orcust monsters are now quick effects. You can activate Orcust Knightmare's graveyard effect on your opponent's turn to send Orcust Harp Horror from your deck to your graveyard. You can activate Harp Horror's graveyard effect to special summon Girsu, the Orcust Mekk-Knight from your deck. Girsu will not only provide link material for I:P Masquerena, but you can also activate Girsu's special summon effect to send Orcust Cymbal Skeleton from your deck to the graveyard. Cymbal Skeleton can activate its graveyard effect to revive Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star from your graveyard.
Playing Around Fuwalos
This low-to-the-ground combo can be played under Mulcharmy Fuwalos with a maximum of 2 draws. You basically follow the steps in The Standard Orcust Combo until step 5, where you'll set Orcust Crescendo instead of Orcustrated Babel. Crescendo can negate almost anything the opponent can throw at you, and you have Orcust Knightmare in your graveyard for the follow-up. If you haven't summoned 5 times yet, then you can use Orcust Knightmare's graveyard effect to send World Legacy - "World Wand" to the graveyard, target Galatea, the Orcust Automaton, then activate World Wand's effect to special summon Orcust Knightmare to a zone Galatea points to, which will meet the conditions for Galatea's continuous effect that prevents her from being destroyed in battle. Also, if you've used Orcust Crescendo on your opponent's turn, then you can banish it from your graveyard on your turn to add a dark machine from your deck or banished zone to your hand, but you can only special summon dark machine monsters the turn you use this effect.
Playing Around Nibiru
Orcustrated Babel is your best defense against Nibiru, the Primal Being. You'll do fine as long as you can get Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star and Orcust Cymbal Skeleton into your graveyard and have some follow-up for the next turn.
Dark Extra Deck Options
Topologic Bomber Dragon can destroy all monsters in the main monster zones whenever a monster is summoned to a link zone. It doesn't have to be its own link zones either!
Topologic Zeroboros has a similar effect to the Bomber Dragon, but it banishes all cards on the field instead, and it can bring itself back if it was banished by its own effect during the next standby phase.
Topologic Trisbaena banishes any monster summoned to a zone it points to along with every spell and trap on the field, then inflicts 500 damage to your opponent for each of their cards that got banished by this effect.
Barricadeborg Blocker can protect your Orcustrated Babel from card effect destruction. His summoning requirement is generic, so you can use a Nibiru token + another monster to make him.
You can play a second Longirsu, the Orcust Orchestrator for longer grind games, but it's not necessary.
Some Tips
Don't worry about trying to OTK opponents. Focus on outgrinding them.
Droll & Lock Bird obliterates decks that need to search multiple times a turn for their combo pieces, such as Six Samurai or Pure Sky Striker. Six Samurai in particular need to summon Legendary Lord Six Samurai - Shi En immediately to negate it, but you have Infinite Impermanence and Forbidden Droplet to back you up.
Don't summon Orcustrion to defend. It uses up too many resources and the opponent usually plays around it.
