Six Samurai is a cool archetype with a very strong Continuous Spell Gateway of the Six, however if you cannot get it it will fall apart. Therefore this is my own take to improve Six Samurai consistency and ensure some board presence even without Gateway. Feedback on improvement is much appreciated!

SS Speedroid Terrortop from hand, searching Speedroid Taketomborg
Taketomborg SS itself, make M-X Saber Invoker
M-X Saber Invoker SS Secret Six Samurai - Kizaru, Kizaru search Legendary Secret of Six Samurai
Link into Isolde, adding a Warrior (Kageki preferably), then send Durendal to SS Secret Six Samurai - Fuma
Legendary Secret trigger effect, SS itself.
Depending on whether you have follow-up or not, you can either Synchro Fuma and Secret into Shi En, use all to make Apollousa, or use Isolde and Legendary Secret to make Battle Shogun and then make your usual Six Samurai plays, all without using your normal summon.
Other notes:
- You want to make M-X Saber Invoker, so many other cards are Level 3 extenders to ensure that (or if you already have enough setup in hand, you can instead make Bamboozling Shadow to negate Nibiru)
- You can make Borreload Savage Dragon with either Grandmaster or Shi En with Psychic Wheeleder or Ghost Ogre, the former giving a monster destroy.
- After some plays, I find out that it's better to search Shien's Dojo if you haven't got any Bushido Counter Spells, since Shien's Dojo can generate value after one summon, while Gateway of the Six would only be useful after two summons, and Six Samurai can brick a lot.
