With the new Jurrac support, one of my favorite decks, Dinos, now has a 1-card combo to get some saucy polays going. However, another deck I love that cares about Dinos is Ryu-Ge, the forgotten deck from Crossover Breakers. After seeing a deck list that combined Ryu-Ge with the new Jurrac support, I knew I had to cook something, and I even tweaked the list to give it a bit of sauce.
The list has the typical Ryu-Ge ratios (any list running more than 1 Kaiva is wilin'), though the Jurrac/Dino ratios are a bit different than the norm. Even if Misc ever comes off the limited list, running two Ovi and one Petite will always be the most optimal ratio for the combo. Also, I'm personally running Petite over Baby is to summon Pankratops if I'm doing the combo through Droll. UCT is UCT and needs no explanation.
While UCT may need no explanation, a certain monster in the extra deck does, and it honestly makes playing Jurrac with Dinos more worthwhile. Grenosaurus Giga-Cannon is a retrain of the rank 3 Grenosaurus, both of which are cards that see no play. Though, with Jurrac Stego's Dinosaur monster lock, this may change for Giga-Cannon. Since the Evolzars are Dragons, they can't be made, but instead, you could use two level 4 monsters to make Giga-Cannon and have it as pop fodder for UCT. But, why does this matter?
Well, when Giga-Cannon is destroyed, you can pop a card and burn your opponent for 1000. Dinos having a way to pop any card on-field along with having a way to cheese a win in time now is really cool. Plus, the Stego combo becomes Nib-proof if you open one of the one card starters for Ryu-Ge.
This variant of Ryu-Ge is easily one of my favorites and one I would recommend for anyone wanting to play Ryu-Ge or the new Jurrac cards.
