Power: High Rogue (7.3/10) - This is a TCG-legal Link Evolution card-pool BA Phantom Knights deck built around Rigurd's "council" identity: many small Level 3 bodies working together through Cherubini, Dante, Break Sword, Rusty Bardiche, and Fog Blade. The update removes the now-forbidden Beatrice, Apollousa, and Red Reboot, trims Called by the Grave to one, and shifts the ceiling into a cleaner legal PK control plan. It remains High Rogue for your non-meta framework because the Rank 3 engine is fast, redundant, and interactive, but it is not a current meta claim because it lacks newer Phantom Knight tools like Torn Scales and cannot use Beatrice or Apollousa anymore.
Consistency: Strong. Tour Guide, Fiendish Rhino Warrior, Terrortop, Taketomborg, Psychic Wheeleder, Psychic Tracker, Danger!? Jackalope?, Danger!? Tsuchinoko?, Emergency Teleport, and Shade Brigandine all help put Level 3 material on board. Scarm finds Tour Guide for follow-up, Ancient Cloak searches Silent Boots, Boots searches Fog Blade or Wing, and Cherubini turns almost any two Level 3 monsters into the correct BA send.
Ceiling: High, but fair. The main ceiling is Cherubini into BA advantage, Rusty Bardiche setting Fog Blade, Break Sword turning cards into removal, and I:P Masquerena or Knightmare Unicorn converting leftover bodies into interruption. Dante gives grind and graveyard setup, Virgil gives a BA-themed Synchro answer when Rubic or Psychic Wheeleder lines appear, and Borrelsword is the clean finisher.
Recovery: Very good for a Link Evolution deck. Dante recovers BA cards, Cir revives BA monsters, Graff replaces itself from Deck, Farfa buys a turn, Fog Blade revives Phantom Knights, Wing gives another searchable extender, and Break Sword can revive two PK monsters as Level 4 bodies for Dark Rebellion or link material. The deck can keep playing after the first board is answered, which is the main reason it stays High Rogue.
Going first/second: Slightly better going first. Going first, aim for Cherubini plus Rusty Bardiche pressure, Fog Blade, and follow-up in grave. Going second, Break Sword, Farfa, Virgil, Knightmare Phoenix, Unicorn, Borrelsword, Dark Ruler No More, Nibiru, Evenly Matched, Cosmic Cyclone, and Feather Duster help force through established boards.
Choke points: Stop Tour Guide or Cherubini before the BA engine reaches graveyard value. Banishing Graff, Cir, Ancient Cloak, or Silent Boots cuts off follow-up. Removing Rusty Bardiche before it sets Fog Blade lowers the deck's ceiling, and forcing Shade Brigandine to wait can slow Rank 3 access. Graveyard hate is strong, but poorly timed disruption can be soaked by BA replacement effects.
Key cards: Tour Guide From the Underworld, Fiendish Rhino Warrior, Graff, Cir, Scarm, Farfa, Cherubini, Dante, The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots, Ancient Cloak, Ragged Gloves, Break Sword, Rusty Bardiche, Fog Blade, Shade Brigandine, Phantom Knights' Wing.
Key combos: Tour Guide summons Graff, then both make Cherubini; Cherubini sends Cir, Graff, Scarm, Farfa, or Rhino depending on the hand. Fiendish Rhino sends a BA name while protecting Fiends from destruction. Silent Boots plus any Phantom Knight body turns into Break Sword or Cherubini, then Boots can banish to search Fog Blade. Rusty Bardiche sends Ancient Cloak or Ragged Gloves and sets Fog Blade, Wing, or Shade Brigandine. Break Sword destroys itself and an opposing card, then revives two Phantom Knights as Level 4 monsters for Dark Rebellion or link climbing. Fog Blade negates threats now and revives PK bodies later.
