Thoughts to consider below from a long time red eyes player...
Spam gearfried and black metal dragon combo.
Use one for one to help bring out a lvl 1. Black Stone for summoning or Effect Veiler / rider of the storm winds for synchro. Also World Legacy Guardagon for revival of a lvl 1 into a synchro or into Relinquished Anima / Linkuriboh if you're in trouble.
Use The King of D to play your Dragon Revival Rhapsody. You also have the option to go for effect veiler with One for One, if you need a spellcaster for your Dragon Revival Rhapsody whenever The King of D isn't present.
Return of the Dragon Lords is your main protection from the GY. Rider of the Storm Winds provides some. Number 11 Big Eye will also get you out of trouble. Successor soul too. This will help you dispose of an enemy monster.
When activating Dragon shrine, send Keeper of the Shrine as your second monster to the GY. You want him there as quickly as possible for safety and further plays. Noctovision is also your friend, especially to gain a second monster for your xyz.
Spam burn damage and fusion ASAP. Predaplant will be your friend here too if needed.
You dont need 3 Fusion or 3 Insight.
3 Red eyes will also brick too often so I stick with 2. I prefer 2 flare rather than 1 as you can often use his burn damage.
You also need to be wary of lack of draw power hence why I have 2 allure. Still toying with Cards of the Red Stone and Reasoning.
