Fabled? Ahhh it's on of these Hidden Arsenal trash piles that do nothing right? NO! Unlike some strange subjects that came out of Hidden Arsenal Fabled is one of the Archetypes that is very much functional and prooved to be a good archetype over the years.
But beware playing Fabled takes a lot of practice since there's always at least 10 different ways to go within this Deck and one play can set you onto a path which you can't change after you decided to walk it.
Let me explain more in Detail what this Deck is all about:
The Entrance to the Fabled Realm
Almost every card is a Starter in this Deck which makes it difficult to pinpoint down one specific one. Your Goal is to summon multiple copies of Fabled Ragin while emptying your Hand to get to a wide lineup of Fabled Synchros or alternatively Red Supernova Dragon. Almost every Fabled Monster is missing a once per turn Condition making big Combo setups very easy.
To facilitate advantage onto the field cards like Fabled Krus and The Fabled Cerburrel exist which special themselves or another Monster onto the field when discarded. Monsters like Fabled Raven or Fabled Marcosia enable the discarding to trigger these effects. Every maindeck Fabled follows one of these 2 patterns. Helping to discard or wanting to be discarded.
Here it's important to remember that Discarding is not Sending. Fabled Soulkius sends 2 cards to the GY so he won't trigger the Fabled effects, which you sometimes actually want.
You might have noticed the crazy amount of Monsters with 34 in total in this Deck. It's very much important to keep your Combo going once started and with many different Fabled Monsters you can aim to summon Red Supernova Dragon in one turn easily. Alternatively Fabled Leviathan and The Fabled Unicore serve as the in Archetype Bosses who can do the job just fine too. Furthermore Fabled Grimro can search for every Fabled Monster in your Deck and is missing a once per Turn too, which makes this style of Deck much more effective.
Fabled Marcosia is your answer to search your small Spell & Trap lineup and with Fabled Grimro combined your whole Deck is at your disposal whenever you need it.
The Special Subject U.N.I.C.O.R.E
The Fabled Unicore has to get it's own paragraph here. It's one of only 2 Monsters existing the other being Cyber Blader which has the ability to negate everything if certain Conditions are met. And with everything I mean EVERYTHING! Since the effect acts as a permanent effect like Skill Drain for example it can negate Counter Traps like Solemn Judgment, Super Polymerization and everything normally unrespondable and destroy these cards.
To have this effect active both you and your opponent have to have the same amount of cards in their Hand. Thanks to the nature of Fabled Monsters it's best used as a agressive tool to go for game without being interrupted. Cards like Fabled Dianaira , Fabled Ragin , Fabled Andwraith , Fabled Leviathan and the Trap Fabled Treason can give this ability a nice twist and surprise the opponent during his turn too with correct setups.
Emptying your Hand is very easy and with Fabled Andwraith combined you can lure the opponent into discarding cards too. As soon as his Hand is empty it's Game Over for him. From here you can manage your Hand easily and keep the The Fabled Unicore lockdown permanently online.
Certainly a card to look out for but only if the Situation allows it. Pro Advice: Summoning The Fabled Unicore first turn and passing is not good within this Deck!
The endless Realm of the Fabled
Fabled Dianaira changes the effect of the first Normal Spell activated from the opponent each turn to you discarding one card from your hand instead. He's very useful to evade cards such as Raigeki and the likes. This even works with an empty Hand and with his 2800 ATK as a one tribute Monster he's certainly part of a optimal Fabled Board. As a L8 Monster he also is an easy 2 card Fabled Leviathan with cards such as The Fabled Cerburrel , Fabled Raven or The Fabled Abanc.
Fabled Soulkius is a L6 Monster with 2200 ATK which can revive itself by sending 2 cards to the GY. Since he sends and doesn't discard it won't trigger Fabled effects. That sounds bad but if you are about to enter the Battle Phase and need an empty Hand he's the Nr.1 card to achieve that since you won't trigger any effects with him. Also as a L6 he is a 2 card Fabled Leviathan with The Fabled Rubyruda combined. He's also a good Stairway to a Fabled Realm mill target.
Fabled Gallabas can Destroy Monsters with less DEF then his current ATK by discarding cards without a Once per Turn. Like that you can trigger multiple Fabled effects and remove opponents Monsters both at the same time. A true advantage Beast. If you enhance his ATK with cards like Fabled Urustos or Hip Hoshiningen his effect only becomes more deadly.
Fabled Urustos is simple. While you have 2 or less cards in your Hand all Fabled Monsters gain 400 ATK. This little ATK Boost is enough to push all your Monsters over that little edge they so desperately need. He himself will be 1900 ATK strong and Fabled Leviathan will be 3400 ATK strong, that's nice.
The Fabled Rubyruda is the only L4 Tuner you have which makes him quite important for various different Synchro lines. If the opponent dares to attack him you can negate these attacks by discarding Fabled Monsters, generating further advantage in the process.
Fabled Grimro searches for all Fabled Monsters by sending her to the GY. The only Condition is that you already have to control a Fabled Monster. This kind of effect without a Once per turn is the reason Fabled is still somewhat relevant even nowadays.
Fabled Marcosia has 2 hard once per turns. He can discard 1 or 2 Fabled Monsters to special himself and reach 1900 or 2100 ATK in the process. If he's discarded he searches one of your Fabled Spell/Traps. He's the only Monster which can discard and wants to be discarded at the same time making him very versatile and essencial.
Fabled Kushano I like to call "Loop Boy" since whenever he's in the GY you can discard a card to return him back to your Hand. He's my Nr.1 pick for Stairway to a Fabled Realm and overall always useful to generate more discard advantage.
The Fabled Ganashia comes back when discarded with 1800 ATK and is banished if he leaves the field. As a L3 non tuner he's kinda important to easily reach Fabled Ragin multiple times.
The Fabled Abanc can revive itself by discarding 1 card and is then banished if he leaves the field. He's another good Stairway to a Fabled Realm target and both him and The Fabled Ganashia are the reason to play PSY-Framelord Omega to keep being able to use them.
Fabled Raven can increase his Level by 1 and ATK by 400 for each card discarded with his effect. That makes him the most versatile tuner you have access to. These changes last until the end phase.
The Fabled Nozoochee can discard a Fabled Monster to special himself and after that a L2 or lower Fabled can be special summoned from the Hand. Overall very useful to empty your Hand and generate field advantage quickly.
The Fabled Cerburrel comes back if discarded. He shares this effect with Fabled Lurrie which are both very good at generating field advantage.
Fabled Krus revives another L4 or lower Fabled Monster if discarded. Even The Fabled Unicore is a legal target for this effect. She turns out to be very strong in almost every Situation.
Fabled Topi is the only way to deal with face down Spell & Traps from the opponent. If he has 2 or more cards in the Hand then you do, you can reveal a Fabled in your Hand and tribute Fabled Topi to target and destroy 2 Spell/Traps from the opponent. A little convoluted for sure but also quite effective in removing potential threats and a potential +1 in card advantage on top of that.
The Fabled Catsith mandatory destroys one Face Up card if she's discarded and can trigger Fabled Leviathan just like Fabled Treason too with her effect, since Fabled Leviathan won't miss timing then.
The Fabled Chawa is like The Fabled Nozoochee but can't special anything else from the Hand if summoned. Since he's a L1 tuner with a built in special summon he's quite useful.
Enhancing the territory
Stairway to a Fabled Realm on activation can mill a Fabled Monster from Deck to GY. Fabled Soulkius , Fabled Kushano or The Fabled Abanc being the best ones for that effect. Once per turn you can discard 2 cards to recycle a Fabled Monster from the GY back to the Hand. Here Fabled Grimro prooves to be the best target. Finally if a Fabled Monster attacks and the opponent has more cards in the Hand then you do, your monster gains 200 ATK times the difference in Hand Size.
Fabled Treason can destroy your own face up cards or an opponents one, discard one of your cards and revive one Monster all written to be able to destroy your own Fabled Leviathan to Recycle any 3 Fabled Monsters back to Hand. Your big 3000 ATK LV10 Boss Monster Fabled Leviathan sadly misses timing sometimes if the opponent deals with him.
The Evil Gods awaken from their sleep
It's time we take a little closer look at the Synchro Bosses you can summon before moving on.
Fabled Leviathan with 3000 ATK he's the King of the Fabled Monsters in terms of lore and Strength. When he's destroyed he can recycle any 3 Fabled Monsters from the GY back to the Hand including himself. Thanks to The Fabled Catsith and Fabled Treason you can do that yourself or wait for the opponent to do it. Since it can miss timing you have to be kinda careful with this effect. Then again it's missing any kind of once per turn and can be looped many times to summon more and more Fabled Monsters.
Fabled Valkyrus with his 2900 ATK he's just slightly behind Fabled Leviathan and his effect allows you to discard a Fiend to Draw 1 Card. Very simple and effective to trigger more Fabled effects and to go deeper in your Deck.
Fabled Andwraith has 2400 ATK and draws 2 and discards one but the opponent can discard one card to negate this effect. If he discards a Monster you can summon it to your side without effects. Since Andwraith triggers on special summon he's a nice target to be brought back with Fabled Treason to force the opponents Hand and potentially unlock the perfect The Fabled Unicore Lockdown.
Fabled Ragin has 2300 ATK and draws up to 2 cards if your Hand is empty on Synchro summon. Summoning him many times gets you much deeper into your Deck with ease which makes him a centerstone of Attention.
The Fabled Unicore already got it's own paragraph so we skip it here.
The Fabled Kudabbi has 2200 ATK and can't be destroyed through Battle or Card effects with less then 3 cards in your Hand. If you have 3 or more cards in Hand during the End Phase he will destroy himself.
Trishula vs Fabled what could go wrong?
So far everything sounds quite nice right? But it's not all Sunshine with this Deck. You have barely any Protection against anything and rely on your OTK Strategy only. Interruption outside of the The Fabled Unicore and Fabled Treason is also quite slim and your Removal options in Archetype are Face Up Cards only with the exception of Fabled Topi. Red Supernova Dragon can save them here just a bit. Also anti Graveyard cards cripple the whole Archetype with almost no hope for escape.
Final Fabled Words
Fabled struggles to set up a strong Wall but can easily overwhelm the opponent in one turn through massive Special summoning. But winning with this Deck takes practice since there's a lot that can go wrong if you choose the wrong Monsters to bring to your field at the wrong time. It's almost like Math.
Practicing this kind of Deck will reward you greatly with one easy to understand but very hard to master Deck. Give it a try if you feel up to take this challenge of a Deck.

Fabled Rules for Fabled Monsters
Below I will list some not so obvious rules about the Fabled Archetype. Before we start once again remember that "Send" and "Discard" are 2 different terms in Yugioh. Also read Fabled Monsters well. Most effects which Discard are not a Cost and instead part of the effect:
Fabled Leviathan: His effect can miss timing. Your effects used to destroy him will almost never make him miss timing.
Fabled Dianaira: His effect is mandatory and even applies if your Hand is currently empty.
Fabled Raven: His effect which increases his level can make him Level 13 and higher.
The Fabled Catsith: His effect to destroy 1 face up card is mandatory and can destroy your own cards too.
The Fabled Unicore: This card will negate and destroy everything including Counter Traps, Unchainable Cards or Unrespondable Cards. This effect is treated as a continuous effect.
