(Disclaimer: Think slow but act quick. You should practice in PvE mode before stepping into PvP. If you feel like Ranked (300 sec) isn't enough, you can definitely make it on time while playing Casual within 480 sec time limit.)
Good day to you! I decided to improve Magical Thorn deck I made a long time ago. With "Primal Seed" and "Magical Contract Door" at your side, it doesn't matter if you go first or second. Let me show you.
Gameplan
1) When you have Ravenous present, place ME-PSY-YA on Pendulum Zone and Special Summon Chaos Emperor Dragon to find combo pieces from Banish Zone (BZ) with "Primal Seed" cards later on.
2) To win, we need to give our opponent cards and they should have at least 10 cards to make this OTK viable. Start by playing "The Humble Sentry" to shuffle other Chaos Emperor into your deck and then, play "Magical Contract Door" to tutor Chaos Emperor and give your opponent any spell but combo pieces and Quick-Play spells. You can also give any two of your cards with "Gold Moon Coin" to your opponent as well. Anyways, here are these spells in question, of which under any circumstances, you mustn't give them at all:
Combo: Primal Seed + The Humble Sentry + Magical Contract Door
Quick-Play: Reload + Pot of Acquisitiveness
3) When you think it's enough, destroy ME-PSY-YA with Ravenous. Then, set all traps and end your turn. This step is a must because we have given lots of spells to the opponent and "Magical Thorn" deals damage if they were sent to GY, not BZ.
4) On your opponent's turn of Draw Phase, activate "Present Card" first and follow-up with "Magical Thorn" cards for the FTK. To not miss out anything, change the button on the lower right corner of the screen to either "ON" or "Auto". It can be changed within settings under "Duel", where you can change "Activation Confirmation" to "Switch + Hold" for manual setup.
If you wonder how to save up some SR and UR points, I can show you:
- "Pot of Avarice" can be collected by purchasing "Re-Contact Universe" deck. 90 SR saved and you can try a new deck!
- "Primal Seed" + "Present Card" + "Ravenous" + "Magical Contract Door" + "Pot of Acquisitiveness" can be found within "Legacy Pack" to save 120 SR and 60 UR!
- "Into The Void" + "Allure of Darkness" can be found within "The Infinite Void" Secret Pack to save 180 SR!
- "Number 60: Dugares the Timeless" can be found within "Number Recall" Secret Pack to save 30 SR!
- "Formula Synchron" can be found within "Stardust Ties" Secret Pack to save 90 SR!
- "T.G. Hyper Librarian" can be found within "Futuristic Creatures" Secret Pack to save 30 UR!
- "Wonder Wand" and "Spellbook of Knowledge" can be collected by purchasing "Spellbook of Prophecy" deck. 120 SR saved and you can try a new deck!
So, in total, you can save up to 630 SR and 90 UR, if you are willing to spend some gems. Other SR and UR cards I didn't mention are essential.
