This season has been tough, i tried branded, tear, and dragon link, i couldn't climb up, then i switched to punk i started climbing a bit but i was still struggling because i kept losing the coin toss, once it got to 7 games in a row of me going second, it must be rigged for real. Weirdly when i added the thunder dragon package , i streak 5 games up to master 1. This game is messed up...
TIPS: 1)When you have gamma in hand, try baiting with monsters effects in hand , so you could possibly go for a free rank 8.
2)CHAOS RULER+ASSAULT SYNCHRON BEST TAG TEAM SINCE SHAQ AND KOBE!!! I usually go for Chaos Ruler as my first rank 8 (you can make chaos ruler with punk cards or with bystial plus assault synchron), and then special summon Assault Synchron (if you have it in hand) i go for baronne, revive Chaos ruler , and go for either hieratic seal or End Punisher, and then Chaos Ruler gets banished and I revive it again wiith Assault Synchron. In my opponent turn i Use Chaos ruler + P.U.N.K sharakusai= Amazing dragon, and bounce up to 4 cards.
3)When using amazing dragon effect of bounce, try to wait until the end phase so you can bounce back traps aswell.
4)Try to get to P.U.N.K field spell as soon as possible when doing combo, gives you card advantage, and possibly on your opponents turn, field spell +Branded regained makes you draw 2 cards! so you can draw into hand traps or extenders.
5)MOST IMPORTANT TIP: don't be a sheep, play whatever you like (obvioulsy something that works), i realised you can make master 1 with any deck, but you have to be unpredictible because all decks are the same and everyone know where to handtrap you, but if you have a unique deck, they will misplay. trust me . Especially in couple weeks when everyone will be on Kashtira, so start planning now. i suggest that you start investing on nibiru, raigeki, darkhole, dark ruler no more, basically board breakers. kashtira instantly scoops to that. Going second in this game is just a big disadvantage. hopefully they do something
