I updated the deck to fit the modern handtrap meta and the fact Rivalry got Limited. No, I'm a big fan of D-Force. D-Force Plasma lock is outrageous and a great way to recover from Nibiru. Now it is only recommended, its not required to play D-Force in the deck. Most Hero boards end with DPE and Wake Up Your E-Hero. When opponent plays Nibiru, chain DPE to blow itself up and Wake Up to recover. On resolution, Activate DPE and Chain Wake Up to summon a warrior monster in deck. AKA Stratos. Stratos search Plasma. Now for this to work, don't use Denier's effects at all. You'll use Denier's effects when you want to get out plasma. Special Summon Denier, then recycle Malicious. Then Special Summon Malicious and tribute Denier, Malicious and Nibiru Token to summon Plasma. Have Plasma equip Nibiru to it and increase its attack. If you have D-Force in Hand, play it and your Plasma will be around 5000 attack with Nibiru equipped (give or take.) Most people will scoop and go to next game. Other people can play around it. I removed Rivalry from the deck but it used to be part of the strategy and you would have been hated for it if you have it.
The deck is more hand trap heavy If you don't like the D-Force, you can replace with Infinite Imperm at 3. Personally I love D-Force but without Rivalry and Anti Spell Fragrance, D-Force Plasma is vulnurable to Harpie's Feather Duster and Kaiju's. However, I increased the number of Shadow Mist and Masked Changes in the deck because Masked Hero Dark Law is really good again. The number increased because you want to draw into these cards and prevent your opponent from dropping Droll and Lockbird or other hand traps that resolve in the graveyard. Most decks also have a hard time playing around Dark Law because the graveyard is necessary for most meta decks. Also Tearlaments is back at my locals and I agro Dark Law against them.
In the side deck, I put Nibiru for fun but I also have Crossout Designator and Forbidden Droplet as well. Forbidden Droplet is really good in Hero decks but I dont like it in main deck. This format is also handtrap heavy so I would prefer Crossout. Alternatively, you could replace D-Force and play Crossout Des in the main deck since its hand trap heavy already. And instead of playing 3 Droll, 3 Ash in the main deck. You can play 2 Droll, 2 Ash, and 2 D-Shifters in the main deck and side the third copies of each hand trap. This should protect you from most common hand traps.
This is a strong hero build that I really like and I hope y'all will enjoy it too. Hero's are a powerful rogue deck right now and I hope this helps you all go far. Happy Dueling!
