OVERVIEW:
This is an adjusted decklist from the one used in the video; the ratios have been changed a bit to make room for a few handtraps, and Amorphactor has been switched out for Pendulumgraph because floodgates are lame.
The entire purpose of this decklist is to make a shell around the Fossil Package makes it a bit more front and center to the gameplan than something like Adamancipators can do. It's definitely the more viable way to play them, but with that one, it always felt like the Fossil part was more something that you'd just use as extra fuel for Adamancipator rather than being actually synergistic with it.
The gameplan with this one is pretty simple: You do your usual Megalith Drytron stuff, but during it, you use both the Megalith's typing and high levels and their ritual effects that send cards to the GY for effect to weave in a line with Gallant Granite to search and proc Weathering Soldier.
GAMEPLAY:
The line goes like this, with a hand consisting of 2 Drytron names (will be Alpha and Zeta for convenience) and 1 level 4 Megalith (will be Hagith for convenience):
•Alpha pitch Zeta, searching Benten
•Zeta pitch Benten, searching Meteonis
•Benten search Manju
•Use Alpha and Zeta for Mu Beta, sending any other name on summon, we'll do Delta
•Use the new Drytron name in the GY to pitch Hagith and summon itself and draw
•Activate Meteonis, detaching 1 from Mu Beta to summon Hagith from the GY and using it to add Unformed
•Normal Manju, adding Pendulumgraph
•Use Manju and Hagith for Gallant Granite, and detach Hagith to search Weathering Soldier
•Activate Unformed, pitching Weathering Soldier for Phul
•Weathering Soldier adds Fossil Fusion
•Phul adds back Hagith, pitching it again for Ophiel
•Ophiel adds Phaleg
•Ophiel and Gallant Granite for I:P
•Use Meteonis' GY effect to reduce Delta and add itself back
•Activate Meteonis, sending Delta and detaching 1 from Mu Beta to summon Pendulumgraph
This gives you:
-An I:P with a body to link into S:P or Underworld Goddess
-A spell negate with Pendulumgraph that summons a body to replace itself
-A Phul which will pitch a level 8 to summon Bethor from deck to pop up to 3 cards
-A live Fossil Fusion in hand for follow-up
Obviously this is a dream scenario, most of the time you'll only have enough for a Pendulumgraph OR an I:P + Phul, but the lines for those remain relatively the same.
This deck consolidates a lot of the blowout potential of Drytron in exchange for some neat follow-up with Fossil Fusion, by having an in-engine line to add it to your hand. The aim is to always have it be live by using an engine that's inherently synergistic with it in Megalith, and using both to back up your board with a powerful beatdown package instead of piling on more layers of disruption.
Enjoy!
