In terms of building a Prediction Princess Deck, Magnifistorm is not the most friendly archetype to work with, specifically because you would rather see a hand that consists mainly of their cards rather than a hand that potentially has a bunch of Ritual and Flip Monsters mixed into it. While that is the case, it is still easy enough to work with. The biggest issue that I currently am having with this Magnifistorm Prediction Princess Deck is that I wish there was an in-archetype Extra Deck pay-off for Magnifistorm, one that would further help facilitate their plays. I was really lost on how to combine these 2 archetypes for a while until I settled on Tribute Summoning their Level 9’s as the most consistent way of getting them onto the field, at least in this Deck as opposed to an actual Magnifistorm Deck. I do really believe that this Deck will improve by a lot once we get some Magnifistorm support, not that it desperately needs it, but for the purposes of combining it with another archetype, one that does mind their WIND-lock on Magnifistorming Crothea, the archetype needs some other tools to access.
Magnifistorm has 2 Level 9 monsters: Magnifistorm Great Pyre Phonix and Magnifistorm Vortex Beauty Valrune. Pyre Phonix is a Level 9 WIND Pyro monster that can Special Summon itself from your hand if a Quick-Play Spell Card is activated and if one is activated while it is on the field, it can target up to 2 cards your opponent controls and shuffle them into the Deck. While it is in the GY and a Mystical Space Typhoon is activated, it can Special Summon itself from the GY. Vortex Beauty is a Level 9 WIND Aqua monster that can also Special Summon itself from your hand if a Quick-Play Spell Card is activated and if a Mystical Space Typhoon is activated while it is in the GY, it can Special Summon itself from the GY. While it is on field, when your opponent activates a monster effect while MST is in your GY, you can Quick Effect negate that effect, and then if there are 2 or more copies of MST in your GY, you can destroy that monster. Both of these cards are pretty good, but in the context of this Deck, I would say that Pyre Phonix is the better one as it can act as both interruption and removal. While Valrune can theoretically negate an Ash Blossom that is activated in response to the activation of a World Legacy Monstrosity targeting Valrune, Valrune requires that MST is in your GY to use its effect which is something that is not the easiest or most optimal thing to set-up if you are going first. However, we still can, and are, playing both in this Deck. This Deck does function relatively well, but I am sure it will get better once more support comes out, so this is more or less a preliminary version of the Deck.
Magnifistorming Suen by itself is a 1-card combo that gets you to either of the Level 9 Magnifistorm monsters. All that is needed left is World Legacy Monstrosity, which we can either pray on hard-drawing or search through Ib the World Chalice Justiciar. Assault Synchron and either Suen or Magnifistorming Erdam gets us to Ib without using our Normal Summon, so Tribute Summoning the Level 9 is still the play. In that case, I will only be explaining the combo that doesn’t use Ib, and that requires Magnifistorming Suen and World Legacy Monstrosity. Special Summon Suen from hand and activate its effect to search for Magnifistorming Stanza Tribute. Activate Stanza Tribute to search for Mangifistorming Erdam. Special Summon Erdam from hand and activate its effect to search for let’s say Magnifistorm Great Pyre Phonix. Tribute Summon Pyre Phonix by tributing both Erdam and Suen. Activate Monstrosity targeting Pyre Phonix to Special Summon Prediction Princess Bibliomuse and Deus-X Krawler from Deck. After that, it is the same old Prediction Princess combo as I always go through. Xyz Deus-X and Pyre Phonix into Mereologic Aggregator (into the EMZ) who sends Herald of the Arc Light from Extra Deck to GY on Xyz Summon. Herald triggers to search for Prediction Princess Tarotrei. Aggregator activates again, targeting Herald in GY, and detaching 1 to reattach Herald from GY. Link Aggregator into Gravity Controller. Herald hits the GY again and triggers to search for Underworld Ritual of Prediction. Activate Underworld Ritual tributing Bibliomuse to Ritual Summon Tarotrei. Bibliomuse triggers in GY off of being tributed in order to Special Summon herself back face-down. Tarotrei activates to flip Bibliomuse face-up which triggers her Flip Effect to search for another Underworld Ritual and Prediction Princess Tarotreith. Activate the second Underworld Ritual tributing Bibliomuse to Ritual Summon Tarotreith face-down. End Phase: Tarotrei activates her effect to Special Summon Deus-X from GY face-down. During your opponent’s Standby Phase, banish Underworld Ritual from GY to Special Summon Bibliomuse from Deck face-down and activate Tarotrei’s Quick Effect to flip Tarotreith face-up. On a new chain, Tarotreith’s Flip Effect Special Summons Pot of the Forbidden from the Deck face-down. Then, Tarotreith can Quick Effect flip your face-down Deus-X, Bibliomuse, and Pot of the Forbidden face-up for their effects.
For the Main Deck Monsters: 3 Prediction Princess Tarotrei, 1 Prediction Princess Tarotreith, and 3 Prediction Princess Bibliomuse. Tarotrei can Quick Effect flip a monster on field face-up or face-down and she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from hand or GY face-down during your End Phase. Tarotreith must either be Ritual Summoned or Special Summoned via Tarotrei's effect in the End Phase. Her Flip Effect Special Summons a Flip Monster from your Deck face-down and she can also Quick Effect flip any number of your monsters face-up or face-down. Bibliomuse can Special Summon herself back face-down after being Tributed and sent there. Her Flip Effect adds a Prediction Princess monster other than herself and a Ritual Spell from Deck to hand and while she is face-up on the field, your Ritual Monsters gain targeting and destruction protection from your opponent’s card effects. I did consider playing 3 Tarotreith and 1 Tarotrei in this Deck for the sole purpose of not using Tarotreith’s Flip Effect to Special Summon Pot of the Forbidden on the opponent’s turn in exchange for potentially being able to activate a Mystical Space Typhoon on the opponent’s turn to trigger either Magnifistorm Great Pyre Phonix or Magnifistorm Vortex Beauty Valurne in GY to bring themselves back for interruption. In that case, Underworld Ritual still Special Summons another Bibliomuse from Deck face-down, but Tarotreith will be used to flip both Bibliomuse and Deus-X face-up whereas Tarotrei’s Quick Effect to flip a monster on field face-up or face-down can be used as a Book of Moon-esque form of interruption. And you realistically can choose to do this instead by just changing the ratios. Normally, I would still be summoning Pot of the Forbidden and instead be using I:P Masquerena to go into like a LINK-4 or higher monster to clear up space on our field, but that requires you to draw a Quick-Play Spell in addition to the aforementioned Magnifistorming Suen and World Legacy Monstrosity or Assault Synchron. Then, you would need specifically MST to bring back either of the Level 9’s on the opponent’s turn. While this can be achieved and we are playing the Extra Deck monsters to facilitate this, I’d rather go with the more simpler option in most scenarios. 1 Deus-X Krawler which negates all activated monster effects on your opponent's side of the field after it has been flipped face-up and if it is destroyed on field, you can search for a Level 9 monster with a different Type and Attribute. 1 Pot of the Forbidden which has a Flip Effect that lets you choose between Drawing 2 cards, returning all Spell/Traps on the field to the hand, destroying all monsters your opponent controls, or looking at your opponent's hand and shuffling a card from it back into the Deck. 1 Magnifistorm Great Pyre Phonix and 1 Magnifistorm Vortex Beauty Valurne. Something to keep in mind about their effect to Special Summon themselves from hand if a Quick-Play Spell Card is activated is that if you have both in hand and you activate Phonix’s effect to Special Summon itself, you cannot chain Valrune’s effect to also Special Summon it, and vice versa. This has to do with the trigger effect conditions, so make sure you don’t actually make an illegal play once this comes out in paper. 3 Magnifistorming Suen and 3 Magnifistorming Erdam. Both are inherent Special Summons from the hand if your have MST in your GY or your opponent controls no Spell/Traps. On Normal or Special Summon, Suen searches a Magnifistorm Spell/Trap from Deck or an MST while Erdam searches for a Magnifistorm monster or an MST from Deck other than itself. Suen is the more important, monster, especially since it can be searched off of Fire Formation - Tenki, but it is also good to max out on Erdam. Opening with both Suen and Erdam means that both can Special Summon themselves from your hand for free while the Quick-Play Spell Suen searches can be used to trigger the effect of the Level 9 Magnifistorm monster Erdam searches to Special Summon it from hand. This then translates to more material on field for some Link plays. Finally, 3 Assault Synchron. So why Assault Synchron of all Level 2 Tuner monsters? Well, for one, we are depending on Tribute Summoning out Level 9 monster to get it out onto the field. So, not having a Level 2 Tuner we can Special Summon for free means that we don’t have our Normal Summon available to Tribute Summon. Assault Synchron can also be searched by Tuning, but that brings up the question of why didn’t I choose to play a Level 2 Psychic Tuner and Emergency Teleport? While E-Tele is a Quick-Play Spell that can trigger the hand effects of your Level 9 Magnifistom monsters, the same issue of drawing the Level 2 Psychic Tuner and having to Normal Summon it (if you didn’t draw E-Tele) comes up again.
For Spell/Traps: 2 Mystical Space Typhoon which is Spell/Trap removal in general and it is needed for certain Magnifistorm cards’ effects. 3 Magnifistorming Stanza Tribute, 1 Magnifistorming Summoning Tribute, and 3 Magnifistorming Sight Trance. Each of these are Quick-Play Spells that allow you to choose between 2 effects, both of which can be each used once per turn. Aside from their unique effect, their second effect allows you to add an MST from your Deck or GY to your hand. And, if they are destroyed by the effect of MST, they can be set back to the field. Stanza Tribute searches a Level 4 or lower Magnifistorm monster from Deck, Summoning Technique sends a Magnifistorm monster from your Deck to the GY, and Sight Trance allows you to draw 2 cards and then discard a Magnifistorm card or a Quick-Play Spell otherwise your entire hand is discarded. 3 Fire Formation - Tenki to search for Suen. 3 Tuning to search for Assault Synchron. 3 World Legacy Monstrosity which can either Special Summon a Level 9 monster from your hand or target a Level 9 monster you control to Special Summon 2 Level 9 monsters from your Deck with a different type and Attribute, but with different names. Finally, 3 Underworld Ritual of Prediction which can Ritual Summon a Prediction Princess Ritual Monster from hand or GY face-up or face-down and you can banish it from GY during the Standby Phase to Special Summon a non-Ritual Prediction Princess monster from Deck face-down.
Extra Deck: 1 Garura, Wings of Resonant Life and 1 Elder Entity N’tss. 1 Ib the World Chalice Justiciar which searches for a World Legacy card on Synchro Summon. 2 Herald of the Arc Light which adds a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand if it is sent to the GY. 1 Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder. 2 Mereologic Aggregator. 1 Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows and 1 Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity. 1 Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II. 1 Underworld Goddess of the Closed World. 1 S:P Little Knight and 1 I:P Masquerena. 1 Gravity Controller.
Side Deck: 3 Mulcharmy Fuwalos, 3 Droll & Lock Bird. 3 Ultimate Slayer. 2 Forbidden Droplet. 1 Called by the Grave. 3 Evenly Matched.
