Yugioh's favourite iconic monster, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, gets a complete overhaul and power-up with the TCG release of the Structure Deck: Blue-Eyes White Destiny! You get to now unironically play Blue-Eyes competitively, going toe-to-toe with meta heavyweights like Ryzeal, Maliss and Fiendsmith! Kaiba certainly rigged this structure deck to be as powerful and busted as possible so his beloved Kisara can obliterate duelists with her burst stream of destruction!
While Blue-Eyes can pretty much summon monsters with every Extra Deck type (except Pendulum, since Konami hates Pendulum), the strategy revolves on summoning mostly Synchro monsters, like Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon, Crimson Dragon, and Cosmic Blazar Dragon. This synchro combo line gives Blue-Eyes multiple negates per turn, gigantic dragon boss monsters and resource recursion for follow-up next turn. The Primite engine also adds an extra layer of consistency and power to Blue-Eyes giving more starters, extension and an additional negate as well!
The incredible amount of consistency that the new structure deck grants also allows the deck to have about 20 staples, offering a perfect balance of starters and handtraps to so that the strategy remains viable going first and second! Kaiba and his dragon darling Kisara certainly now have their place in the 2025 Yugioh meta, so I think it's about time to make a video and guide to be the best Blue-Eyes duelist!

ARCHETYPES AND DECKBUILDING
Blue-Eyes Primite is composed of 2 archetypes which all lead to basically the same endboard. The deck is also consistent enough to maindeck 18 staples! Since any level 4 or lower spellcaster or dragon monster can link away to Spirit with Eyes of Blue, the this deck has 18 1-card starters which ends on a full Blue-Eyes board.
The BLUE-EYES cards are minimalistic relative to earlier Blue-Eyes decklists due to the new cards introduced in the structure deck. It is composed of a mere 16 cards. The Blue-Eyes deck core is composed of x3 Maiden of White, x3 Sage of Eyes of Blue, x3 Wishes for Eyes of Blue, x1 Roar of the Blue-Eyes Dragons, x1 White Mausoleum, x1 True Light, x1 Ultimate Fusion, x1 Majesty with Dragons of White and of course, x2 of the original Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
A PRIMITE cards count as extra starters and extenders for the Blue-Eyes strategy, and grants it an additional omni-negate. It is composed of x3 Lordly Lode, x3 Ether Beryl and x1 Drillbeam.
This decklist has 18 STAPLE cards, due to the extreme consistency the link-1 and new support cards offer. The best handtraps for the current meta are included, which are x3 Effect Veiler (doubles as 1-card starter), x3 Imperm, x2 Nibiru, x2 Droll, x3 Ash, x3 Dominus Purge and x1 Bystial Magnamhut. The last staple is a non-handtrap, which is x1 Called By due to the prevalence of handtraps this format.
COMBOS AND GAMEPLAN
Blue-Eyes has a relatively simple and straightforward gameplan - summoning big synchro boss monsters to negate your opponent's plays, then OTK next turn with overwhelming firepower and resources. This is done by going for a linear comboline, until massive Blue-Eyes/Crimson Dragon boss monsters like Ultimate Spirit and Blazar are deployed. If the Primite engine is accessible, an additional omni-negate is accessible via Drillbeam.
Here is the standard opening combo for Blue-Eyes:
Sage with Eyes of Blue + Primite Ether Beryl + any 1 card = Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon (omni-negate), Primite Drillbeam (omni-negate banish), Stardust Sifr Dragon (monster negate and destroy) (destruction protection), Neos Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (targeting protection), follow-up (True Light, Lordly Lode, Ether Beryl, Drillbeam all recur).
Normal summon Ether Beryl. Activate Ether Beryl's on-summon effect to set Lordly Lode from deck.
Activate Lordly Lord to add from deck Drillbeam.
Link summon Spirit with Eyes of Blue using Ether Beryl. Activate Spirit with Eyes of Blue's on-summon effect to search for Mausoleum of White from deck.
Activate Mausoleum of White. Activate the effect of Mausoleum of White to normal summon Sage with Eyes of White.
Activate Sage's on-summon effect to search for Maiden of White from deck.
Discard Maiden of White to place on your field True Light from deck.
Activate Mausoleum of White targeting Spirit with Eyes of Blue and send from deck to GY Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
Tribute Spirit with Eyes of Blue to summon from the GY Blue Eyes White Dragon.
Activate Maiden of White's effect in the GY to summon herself since Blue-Eyes White Dragon was summoned on the field.
Synchro summon Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon using Blue Eyes + Sage of Eyes of Blue.
Activate True Light to set from deck Wishes for Eyes of Blue.
Activate Wishes for Eyes of Blue discarding 1 card to add from deck Roar of the Blue Eyed White Dragons and Effect Veiler (that's right this handtrap is searchable!) (If you already have Roar, search instead for Majesty).
Activate Roar of the Blue Eyed White Dragons to summon from deck Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
Banish Wishes for Eyes of Blue from the GY to equip to Blue-Eyes a Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon from your Extra Deck. (Neos Blue-Eyes Ultimate is targeting protection).
Synchro summon a second Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon using Blue Eyes + Maiden of White.
Tribute Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon to summon from your Extra Deck Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon.
Tribute your second Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon to summon from your Extra Deck Crimson Dragon.
Activate Crimson Dragon targeting Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon to summon from Extra Deck Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon. (This prevents your Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon from being destroyed by Spirit Dragon's effect during the End Phase).
Activate Lordly Lode declaring Blue-Eyes White Dragon to summon it from the GY.
Set the rest of your cards, especially Primite Drillbeam.
If you only have Ether Beryl, the strategy still ends on an omni-negate, bounce and follow-up.
Primite Ether Beryl = Hieratic Seals (bounce and summon any Dragon from deck) + Primite Drillbeam (omni-negate banish)
Activate Lordly Lode declaring Blue-Eyes White Dragon to summon it from deck.
Link summon Hieratic Seals of the Heavenly Spheres using Blue-Eyes White Dragon + Spirit with Eyes of Blue.
During your opponent's turn, return your opponent's face-up card to their hand with Hieratic Seals and summon Blue-Eyes from deck. Since Blue-Eyes on board, you can use Drillbeam to negate your opponent's effects since you control a normal monster.
Going first, you make powerful board with multilayered interruption and with plenty of follow-up next turn. Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon, Cosmic Blazar Dragon and Primite Drillbeam give this deck triple omni-negates per turn! Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon also acts as a minor floodgate and can negate a GY card activation. This deck can make this board through 1-2 cards, so your hand is likely full of one of the 17 handtraps the strategy uses to further stop your opponent!
Going second, you weaken your opponent with the 18 handtraps/staples you have. Then your Blue-Eyes cards have enough gas to bait enough interruption, generate enough resources and gigantic dragons to push through your opponent's board! It's notable that Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon can attack every monster your opponent controls and it's easily accessible in this strategy through Wishes for Eyes of Blue.
GENERAL TIPS
If you get "Shifter'd," you can still play the game competently. Set-up your Primite omni-negate, and if you have an extender, you can link summon Hieratic Seals for a bounce. You also have handtraps to use as well!
Activate your Primite cards first to bait handtraps/interruptions, and then you can go for the full Blue-Eyes combo.
Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon can attack every monster on your opponent's board, effectively resetting their field! This boss monster is easily summonable as part of your Blue-Eyes combo, so keep this in mind when you give your opponent a counter attack on turns 2/3!
Handtraps that really harm Blue-Eyes are Droll (you search and add a ton from deck), Nibiru (No way to play through it), and Bystials (banish your Maiden of White/Blue-Eyes from the GY). Watch out for these cards, and perhaps it's good to run x3 Crossout Designators during handtrap heavy formats!
Your big choke point for this strategy is "Wishes for Eyes of Blue." It discards one of your cards to add two cards from deck, so if this gets negates, you'll end up with a -2 in card advantage!
A unique handtrap, Dominous Purge, is used in this strategy since Blue-Eyes and it's support are mostly light monsters. If you use its card effect in the hand, remember you cannot activate Dark, Water and Fire monster effects for the rest of the duel! That means you cannot use monsters like Ash Blossom and Magnamhut.

Will Blue-Eyes be able to catch up to the cut-throat TCG meta? Or will it just be another rogue deck compared to the heavyweights?
