Locals: Radiant Typhoon FIRST PLACE UNDEFEATED out of 14 (06.12.2025)

TCG Tournament, 14 players.

MST best deck

Round 1 vs Blue-Eyes:
He was a newly returning player, he had no chance, 2-0.

Round 2 vs Labrynth Yubel
He was new at the deck, he had no chance, 2-0.

Round 3 vs Gem-Knight
Against one of our better players, but it was his second time on Gem-Knights.
He also was tilted and therefore made some mistakes, I still felt like I played super clean. 2-1.
Lost Game 2 because he drolled me, I chained Vision, and after it all resolves I had Chant, Swen, Swen, Eldam, Eldam and something else in Hand.
Made Caesar but he had an out of course.

Round 4 vs Mitsurugi Fiendsmith
Against one of our best players.

He went first Game 1, end board:
Murakumo,
Futso,
Purification,
I:P,
Lacrima + Desirae + Agmunday in GY setup,
Ash Blossom in hand.

He forgot I was on super poly, otherwise he said he would have made a different board,
so in draw I went prio on super poly, fuse the Mitsus to Garura, Purification completely offline, new chain Fonix to special, he didnt yet summon Desirae.
On Fonix summon, Chant to add Monster, Fonix shuffle back I:P and Purification so he also doesnt get Purification GY eff which is dangerous.
In Standby he made Desirae, in main I just go S:P, draw a card off Garura and out the Desirae.

He then ashed my swen but I had enough gas to keep going, get Krosea off Eldam and used Manifestation + MST to set up Fonix and Varuroon again.
(dont know the details of the game state any more but of course you can NOT Manifestation Chain MST, Mill Varuroon and then summon back Varuroon because of the MST, that is not legal, but as I said dont quite know game state any more, I also dont know if I still had something in hand or whatever.)
He also had no real followup because none of the Mitsus triggered and I negated his Engraver with Varuroon.

I set up my followup interruptions a little wrong because I had only MST set and not a RT quickplay but it was enough.

Game 2 he didnt draw a Mitsu play. He ended on Desirae + Ceasar, I used droplet only with monsters, and he didnt even chain something else and negate with Desirae, maybe because he forgot or didnt have a playable Spell/Trap (f.e. Purification was a dead backrow), so I got rid of his board super quickly and he again didnt have enough followup because he wasnt able to do any Misu things again.


Decklist:
I have barely changed the list in the last couple of weeks.

Main Deck is almost completely set in stone for now, the Fiendsmith engine to go for Ceasar is theoretically optional, but its so powerful I feel like its mandatory. Also really important against Dracotail because they have multiple monster effects that fuse and you usually dont want to use the MST+Trap on those.

In the extra, I rarely make Gossip Shadow Zeus, or with the FS even Totem Bird, but they should still be in the list I feel like. Gossip Shadow is just to break boards if they let me make a Rank 3, because an end board piece that lets the both players draw a card while I dont play handtraps is terrible.

For Fallen & The Virtuous, you can play Alba Lenatus instead of the 3rd Albion to make some people think youre actually on branded stuff :P. In this deck you could even play more targets because the Trap recycles Fallen & The Virtuous.

In the side deck, I side Charmies for going second,
Ash mostly for matchups because the only charmy that hurts is Purulia and barely anyone plays it right now. I just played it to try it, never drew it.
Droll for certain matchups, didnt side against Mitsu FS because of the FS part so if they have a good hand its just a -1.
Tenki for going first to brick less, but plays into droll sadly.
Judgement for breakers going first and Yummy and Warning also for Yummy.

Didnt play an our for Liger because noones on Lunalight at my locals right now. I would play Lava Golem if I needed an out probably.

All in all, 4-0, lost one Duel total, and im super happy. I dont get why I dont see this deck more in the TCG, the deck is crazy, even before the busted support the will come out in Burst Protocol, and super fun because you get to annihalate boards in the draw phase. nice Snatchy, nice I:P, nice Forced Release, Idiots :D.
