Note: Ban list destroyed this deck. Will remain up, but only feasible in traditional format.
Really fragile, but not as fragile as the base Karakuri Strategy.
The plan is to go into Halq, get 001, then go into Auroradon. From there, you synchro into a Burei and bring out a Saizan to create another Burei. You Synchro Climb into Bureido using Gamas (Remember to use Gama in GY to draw 2), and then go into Bureibu.
Card Selection Breakdown:
The summary above can be the result of a single e-Tele (or just a Ze Amin Normal Summon). Of course, depending on your opening hand, the strategy might differ a bit. Here is why I run the cards I do.
Karakuri: Base for the deck. You generally don't want to draw into your Ninishi and Gamas. Kunamzan is best left in the deck, and you should only go into it when you have no other play other than Ready/Insta fusion + Kunamzan into a River Stormer.
Theorins': King Reggie is a safety net against interruptions. Having him on the board while you combo off is great for preventing Nibiru or a disruption. Remember, if Halq fizzles, you're pretty much fucked. I would run 3, but I found myself drawing into 2 Reggies when I only needed the one.
P.U.N.K: Main Combo Starter. A single E-Tele can take you from Ze Amin to a Bureibu. Standard combo is
Ele-Tele -> Ze Amin -> Madame Spider -> Halq (into 001) -> Auroradon -> 2 Bureis -> 2 Bureidos -> Bureibu and a Bureido
Machina: Great for setting up Reggie and getting bricks into your GY. Drawing into Redeployment and a Machina isn't generally bad, as you do run an Overdrive. You use Overdrive to recycle your Halq and other options. If you get into the fabled turn 3 and beyond, you can do a pretty nice loop of Recycling Tunneler with Overdrive to get back even more resources. Citadel is also an amazing piece of interruption.
Infinitrack: There mostly for Tunneler. Dozer and Trencher are cuttable, but Dozer searches out the Tunneler and I find myself in a lot of situations where I need to get myself back into the grind. I usually search Dozer w/ Heavy Forward to deck thin. I also pitch it for Theorins when I can.
Vernalizers: Extenders. Them being able to retrieve ANY earth is amazing. I don't want to draw into them too often tho. Never use these as your first move, as they'll lock you out of Halq, Auroradon and Baronne. Only use them to continue your combos once you're sure you have no other play.
Morphtronic: There to get you into Halq if you don't draw into any P.U.N.Ks.
Ready/Insta Fusion: As mentioned previously, here when you need an extra body on the field. You run Gyroid and Cyber Saurus because they're Earth Machines. Using Kunamzan doesn't lock you out of them and Tunneler can recycle them - so they're perfect.
Destrudo: Another Tuner for Halq
Extra deck:
Run what you'll go into. The extra deck space isn't that right, as you can cut Infinitrack Goliath and Earth Slicer. I never go into them, and if I do, I'm probably losing that game anyways. However, Earth Slicer can be great going second.
You'll generally use up most of the Karakuris in your Combos, although I do find myself with a Single Bureibu left, often. Naturia Beast is perfect, and shuts down most decks - you can go into it with a Ninishi Special Summon with a Karakuri Synchro, and then normal summoning Inashichi.
Baronne is a great card, and you can go into it with a Ninishi + Machina Fortress. It's worth mentioning that it is Generic, so any other combination of cards in the deck can lead up to it.
