Insect Genesys

2nd Draft of an Insect Genesys Deck

This is more of a casual genesys deck than a super competitive one, still somewhat bricky and combos can end abruptly due to lack of gas

This deck really misses the Insect links you would play in TCG version of deck but is still a compotent enough deck as a Synchro focused stratergy. Make use of all the "C" monsters you can as they are really good in Genesys and Retaliating can search all of them (Resonance Insect can also search Sneaky as well).

Resonance Insect is seen far less consistently since no Inzektor Picofelena, hence why I am running three Supply Soldiers as most of the time if you are able to get off a Resonance search, you will be searching Rapier the Onslaught, so better to just open Supply Soldiers.

Dragonbite plus Resonance is the ideal 2 card combo as it gets you straight into Diabolantis allowing you to get off a Resonance search and foolish a name which kickstarts the main Battlewasp combo. However, Dragonbite plus Retaliating "C" or Gokipole can also be combo, it just doesnt go you as far and relies on other cards in the opening hand (make Circle of the Fairies and hopefully have a tuner to normal off of it).

If you know you're going first you can side in the 3 Solemns over 2 Retailiatings or the Veilers, and replace a Sting Lancer with the Scary Moth. I you know you're going second you have more than enough board breakers and handtraps to side into just know your match ups.

Was originally playing with 3 imperm, but cut them and replaced them with 3 veilers and had points left over to invest in the Solemns. When going first, if u Maxx C your opponent during the start of their turn, drawing into Veiler is more effective than imperm due to your turn 1 endboard.

Most importantly, enjoy Maxx "C"ing your opponent.
