Infernoids have always been a powerful deck, but it has been historically plagued as being bricky and slow as hell (pun intended), its need to main 12-18 bricks, un-normal summonable maindeck monsters, and the lack of tools to bring sufficient numbers of its monsters to the graveyard.
Until now! The support for Infernoids from the selection pack "Outlaws from the Inferno" is what kids today might call "cracked!" Infernoid Evil's foolish burial of up to ELEVEN Infernoid bodies to the GY is unmatched by any other card in Yugioh. Not only that, it searches for any Infernoid spell/trap from deck when it reaches the GY or banished, further enabling your consistency! The new archtypal boss monster, Infernoid Flood is also nothing to scoff at, since it negates a summon, banishes from field, and floats into any Infernoid from deck when destroyed. Oh, and the rest of the Infernoid spell/trap support is also incredible - they're all very decent!
When paired with Snake-Eye, Infernoid has definitely modernized enough to be a new powerhouse in the Masterduel meta, despite the hits to Snake-Eye in the recent banlists. Grass Looks Greener is also legal in Masterduel, and this card (if it resolves) turns Infernoid into an unstoppable juggernaut - you basically win when it resolves! Like in the Duel Terminal Lore, Infernoids will be a flood of purifying inferno to every unfortunate deck it comes across!
With "That Grass Looks Greener" legal in Masterduel, Infernoid has an insane "instant-win-button" with such a powerful card that is searchable with x3 Thrust and x3 Left Arm Offering! Even without the grass, Infernoid is still a GY combo juggernaut that can reliably go first or second as a 60 card pile, very much like Branded! With all the new support and banlist unhits, Infernoid is now a force to be reckoned with that can easily combat even powerful tier 1 meta!
Purify your opponents monsters, board and lifepoints with the blazing flames of Armageddon with Infernoid Snake-Eye!
