Lightsworn Chaos with Horus Focus
This deck combines the aggressive swarming of Lightsworn monsters with the powerful Egyptian God Horus and a touch of Chaos for versatility.
Monsters (Main Deck):
- Lightsworn Engine: The core of the deck. Raiden searches for Lightsworn monsters, Lumina summons them from the deck, and Destiny HERO - Malicious discards them to fuel their effects. Lightsworn Dragonling and Felis provide additional tribute fodder for high-level Summons.
- Horus Package: Imsety, Hapi, Duamutef, and Qehbesenuef search for and support Horus the Black Flame Deity, a powerful monster with destruction potential.
- Chaos Options: The Chaos Creator offers removal and recursion, while Destrudo can send Lightsworns to the graveyard for their effects. Bystial monsters provide hand disruption and graveyard advantage.
Spells (Main Deck):
- Lightsworn Support: Solar Recharge and Trade-In help activate Lightsworn effects, while Foolish Burial sends monsters to the graveyard for searching or revival.
- General Support: Charge of the Light Brigade searches for Destiny HERO - Malicious, while Called by the Grave and Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring offer disruption. King's Sarcophagus searches for Lightsworn monsters and potentially revives banished ones.
Traps (Main Deck):
- Lightsworn and Horus Protection: Lightsworn Aegis negates effects that target Lightsworn monsters, and Canopic Protector protects Horus the Black Flame Deity.
Extra Deck:
- Lightsworn Synchro and Xyz: Psychic End Punisher, Minerva, the Athenian Lightsworn, and Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn offer powerful Synchro Summons.
- Rank 4 Options: F.A. Dawn Dragster provides removal, while Tri-Edge Master and Number 97: Draglubion offer control options.
- Chaos and Utility Options: Chaos Angel provides removal, while Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star disrupts the opponent's graveyard plays. Number 90: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord and Number 100: Numeron Dragon offer additional offensive options.
Overall Strategy:
This deck aims to swarm the field with Lightsworn monsters, using their search and discard effects to set up plays. Horus the Black Flame Deity can be a powerful finisher with the help of its support monsters. The Chaos options and Bystial monsters provide additional utility and disruption. The Extra Deck offers a variety of Synchro and Xyz options for different situations.
Weaknesses:
- Hand Disruption: The deck relies on its monsters' effects, so hand traps like Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring can disrupt its plays.
- Removal: The deck can be vulnerable to heavy monster removal, especially if it cannot establish a strong presence on the field.
Overall, this deck offers a unique blend of aggressive swarming and powerful monsters, with a touch of chaos for adaptability.
