The Ashtra archetype hasn't been released yet in the TCG, but it has been accounted for.
Side Deck Tech
Gravekeeper's Watcher is a hand trap that can negate and destroy an opponent's card that could make them discard a card when it resolves. In this format, Gravekeeper's Watcher is used to negate Ritual of Light and Darkness decks' Mind Shuffle and most of the Sacred Beast decks' searchers.
Quadogmatika Beast can revive any monster from your graveyard or banished zone by sending a monster with equal or greater attack from your extra deck or a Dogmatika monster from your deck to the graveyard. However, you cannot special summon from the extra deck until the end of the next turn after this card resolves. It provides recovery for decks that don't rely heavily on their extra deck. You can send Dogmatika Lawbringer from your deck to your graveyard to revive any monster with 2000 attack or less, then activate Lawbringer's graveyard effect to add Quadogmatika Beast from your graveyard to your hand.
Mutually Affured Destruction and The Eye of Truth are counters to any deck that must reveal cards in their hand to activate their effects, such as Blitzclique and Sacred Beasts. Unlike The Eye of Truth, Mutually Affured Destruction only lasts 1 turn, but it's less prone to spell and trap removal.
Dominus Spiral, Interrupted Kaiju Slumber, and Pair Bear Scare!! give players more access to monster removal. Pair Bear Scare!!, in particular, can create meta games of Chicken where each player must decide whether to remove the card from their decks or keep it for free non-targeting destruction.
Ryu-Ge Realm - Wyrm Winds is a budget version of Dimensional Fissure that banishes any monster that would be sent from the field to the graveyard during your opponent's turn. It gives you control over the field with fewer opportunities to accidentally banish your own monsters.
Fog King is a monster alternative to Mask of Restrict that prevents either player from tributing cards. Normal summon him to shut down Clown Crew decks. You can search for Fog King with Piri Reis Map.
Decisive Battle of Golgonda can protect your monsters from card effect or battle destruction by sending a fusion monster that mentions Fallen of Albaz from your extra deck to your graveyard. If you send Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon, then you can protect your board and search for a Polymerization normal spell or a Fusion normal spell during the end phase.
Engine Tech
The Ashtra Engine
A small engine consisting of 2 Akasuna the Battle Ashtra, 1 Ashtra's Howl, and 1 Ashtraja Susanoo can provide more extension and disruption for trap-based decks. The general idea behind this engine is:
1. Akasuna can special summon himself from your hand by returning a set card you control back to your hand.
2. During your end phase, Akasuna can set Ashtra's Howl from your deck.
3. Ashtra's Howl can special summon itself as a level 1 tuner, then allows you to synchro summon on your opponent's turn.
Ashtra's Howl + Akasuna = Any level 9 synchro
You'd synchro summon Ashtraja Susanoo in this combo.
4. Because Ashtraja Susanoo was synchro summoned, you can banish traps from your graveyard, then banish that many cards on the field.
5. Activate Ashtraja Susanoo's end phase effect to recycle your Ashtra cards and potentially repeat this combo.
The Revolution Synchron Engine
Tuning + Revolution Synchron is a small engine any deck with level 4 monsters can add to make level 7 or 8 synchros. Tuning searches for Revolution Synchron. A Revolution Synchron in your hand can be used as material for a level 7 dragon synchro.
1 level 4 monster on your field + Revolution Synchron = A level 7 dragon synchro
Some of the best level 7 synchro dragons to summon are Black Rose Dragon, a board wipe, Ancient Fairy Dragon, an extender that can also destroy and search for field spells, and Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, which can negate level 5 or higher monster effects on the field. If you still control a level 7 dragon synchro, then, once per duel, you can special summon Revolution Synchron from your graveyard as a level 1 tuner to make a level 8 synchro. One of the best level 8 synchros to summon is Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon who can negate monster effects regardless of their level or location.
Ultimate Slayer Tech
The extra deck contains some monsters that work well with Ultimate Slayer. One card of note is Predaplant Chimerafflesia who has a similar, but more powerful graveyard effect to Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon. During the standby phase of the next turn that it was sent to the graveyard, you can search for any Polymerization or Fusion spell including a quick-play spell like Super Polymerization.
