Prominent European pro duelists like Joshua Schmidt and Dinh Kha Bui have topped YCS Bologna with this mid-range monstrosity, with their decklists featuring 20+ handtraps/staples!
Not only that, both Kashtira and Fiendsmith contain incredible 1 card combos that have very high power ceilings when allowed to fully play out their gameplan. Both Kashtira and Fiendsmith also are generally fine with being handtrapped and interrupted to a standstill, since they can still follow-up next turn with their simple but effective interruption and incredible resource loop. Kashtira also maintains considerable field presence with Fenrir's banish, Unicorn's Extra Deck destruction, and most of all, Kashtira Birth's powerful anti-meta triple banish from your opponent's graveyard. This deck is also relatively simple and easy to play - there are no complicated combo lines. Fiendsmith turbos out Desirae, while Kashtira gives support with extra bodies and interruption. You get our your omni-negate boss monster and handtrap your opponent with a barrage of staple cards!
