With DPE being one of the best boss monsters of this format, it's no surprise that he fits very well into FA Metalfoes a deck that has great synergy with destroying their own cards for searching and card advantage. This deck runs DPE as well as the basic Halifibrax combo that can end on 3 negates quite easily, you could also consider DPE as a backup strategy for when your main combo line gets disrupted. Other options for the deck include the artifact scythe lock with Dagda as any deck running DPE with a decent extra deck spam engine can consider Dagda.
The main combo line will start with trying to get two monsters, one being a tuner, to try and get out Halqifibrax, from here you simply summon the Deskbot 001 from the deck, link 3 into Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon get 3 tokens, summon the Deckbot 001 from grave with its effect, synchro 4 for a Quandax, use Auroradon's effect to tribute two tokens and summon a Phantom Beast from the deck, get Coltwing, summon the two tokens, and then synchro into Dawn Dragster and Borrel Savage. At this point, there are a bunch of extenders you could try going for, but you'll likely end with a Herald of the Arclight or a Baronne de Fleur/Ruddy Rose. IT may seem like a lot but it's pretty straightforward once you get a hang of it.
This combo is quite fragile and can be disrupted fairly easily by a lot of decks so you'll be a victim of games that feel like you lose at the coin flip but you have many options for going second. The deck works well with droplets as there are quite a good amount of cards that you'd like to be in the graveyard. And Dark Ruler no more is basically an auto-include since you can't really combo into most meta boards. If all that fails trying for a one synchro board plus gravity collapse does work quite well as shutting your opponent out of summons for the rest of the turn on a spell speed 3 is, as expected, really good.
