Experimental Charmers Update (2023)
Deck Description
Once again, I've updated the "Experimental Charmer Deck" line with an idea I came across while on Master Duel. I noticed that a few of the "Gravekeeper's" archetype monsters had 1500 ATK or 1500 DEF, and obviously with the majority of the monsters being Spellcasters, I thought that they would be an interesting addition to the Deck.
The result was surprisingly positive. In particular, I was able to best a "Fallen of Albaz" deck in Master Duel. Granted, the victory was a result of the opponent making 2 fatal mistakes (which if the mistakes were avoided, I would have likely bricked). Still, that first mistake gave me the opportunity to abuse the "GY resurrection" mechanic of the Link "Charmers", and the second mistake is what ultimately allowed me to summon "Gravekeeper's Shaman", which simply having it on the field with "Unpossessed", "Awakening of the Possessed", and a Link "Charmer" (Other than DARK) basically won me the game.
I've recently made it a point to keep "Familiar-Possessed - Lyna" and "Familiar-Possessed - Dharc" in the Deck no matter what other cards at in it, simply because their trigger effects when Special Summoned from the Deck are much more useful than the other " Familiar-Possessed" cards. Then I just put any 3 of the other "Familiar-Possessed" cards in (I generally keep "Hiita" in, just in case the opponent uses "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring"). I also prefer to keep "Aussa" in the Deck, just because of how common EARTH monsters are... And also because of how useful " Awakening of the Possessed - Nefariouser Archfiend" is
