I was lucky enough, as a kid, to play the game during its very best phase, from 2009 to 2012.
One of the decks which were always in my backpack was this Exodia deck. This version that I decided to upload here was the last one I owned at the moment I stopped playing the game (the banlist of reference is the one of
September 2012). I think it's one of the most fun and competitive versions of this deck (without going into the FTK/OTK ones - which are not fun imho) and it's also quite unique.
It is only the final evolutionary step of a deck which saw a ton of modifications over those years, therefore since these days I was rethinking about old memories, I saved this decklist to not forget it. I also made a
version to play in Edison, therefore adapting it to an earlier banlist (
March 2010), which also reflects one of the earliest versions (much more defensive, with a variation using
The Dark Door and
Scrap-Iron Scarecrow) of this deck. Last but not least, I also made a
2022 version of the deck to play the modern game (probably not my cup of tea, but it was fun to think about it and I will test it asap).
