Evilswarm is past its prime, but that doesnt mean it can't make plays in todays game. Remember, Savage Dragon and other high level monsters still see play, so Evilswarms can at the very least put a dent in certain strategies.

Crusadia Reclusia: Special summon this card to Steelswarm Origins link point, destroying it and a monster your opponent controls, triggering Origins effect and summoning 2 Evilswarms from the deck for an instant rank 4.
Iron Dragon Tiamaton: This combo's so well with Origin, acting like a psueudo extra deck lock in some sense. If there are 3 cards in either extra monster column (second left and second right) while Steelswarm Origin is in that column, special summon Tiamaton under Origin, and Origin's effect to be immune to destruction while linked will prevent it from being destroyed by Tiamaton. Origin's evvect already limited the ability to summon from the extra deck, limiting players to its link arrows only, but now that column can't be used, that renders the extra deck inaccessible.
