Triamid is that one deck i desperately tries to make work for some time now.
After playing some N/R format with some friend, i finally decided to take the plunge and make a proper Triamid deck. It sucks. Probably.
N/R Triamid was the most fun in dueling i ever had, regular ranked duels with it are... not so much. You'll spend the majority of the time hoping your opponent doesnt do any of the usual solitaire you normally see.

So what's the game plan? It's pretty simple, really :
I dont think its a good idea to have someone who's actually bad at the game to explain a deck, but do allow me to explain the pawns that you will be using.
Triamid Sphinx : You might think he's the boss monster here, the big daddy of the deck, but no (for the boss mon part, yes for the big daddy part). You can remove him from the deck and it wont change much, heck it might make the deck more useable. No, he is a symbol for the deck, and summoning him is basically you making a statement towards your opponent "I am taking your carefully built deck with Triamid, prostate yourself in awe". He is a big monster that can beat your enemy down, but doesn't do much other than having a pressence. Just like a pyramid.
Triamid Hunter : The core, the main dish of the deck. The extra normal summon that makes the deck have some field pressence. Pretty straightfoward card, useless without the field spell.
Triamid Dancer : The salad dressing, sauce and the one that give this deck a fighting chance. The name of the game is "Your LP drops to 0 3 turns from now" and she will make sure it happens. In a long game, which you should alway aim, she will keep powering up your bricky mons, turning everyone into a beatstick.
Triamid Master : He exist.
Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo : Do i really need to explain about him? Summoning two is the dealbreaker, your enemy wont get through, and we are more than well equipped to do just that.
Neo-Spacian Grand Mole : An unexpected best friend of the deck! Remover of annoying monster, and its not like you can summon him just once you know.
Adamancipator Researcher : She's great because you only need a rock monster to special summon her, and she special summons another on excavate, heck you really should just go full Adamancipator instead of Triamid :/
Triamid Cruiser : Your normal summon best field, heals and draw on triamid summon, also search one when replaced. Set it up first and set it up last.
Triamid Fortress : Remember to have this on field when you active Torrential Tribute, because that's the only mass removal you got. Your Triamid is layered with anti-Raigeki with this pile of brick on the field.
Triamid Kingolem : When everything's set up neatly and in line, it's time to go the offensive. Attack boost and protection on battle phase, also special summons from hand when replaced, but keep it as a surprise!
Adamancipator Friends : "Why even use this card? It locks into rock only!" That's the thing babe. It's a none otp excavate that increases with the number of rocks you got on your field. Aside from MaxxC, your deck is all rock, and we need all the chance to summon Dyna.
And what about the Extra Deck?
You can just ignore it. Besides, you're not going to use the Extra Deck anyway. You need the Triamids on field to keep swapping the field, Dyna doesn't allow special summons anyway and Researcher is there for excavate. The Extra Deck is there if you're that desperate, but we don't do that here.

So how to use the deck?
Im no expert, but here's what you need to aim for :
1. A field and 1 Triamid. This is the bare minimum, and you will probably be dead next turn.
2. Rush in 2 Dyna as fast as you could, you can search them up with excavate.
3. Once you establish field pressence, continue to recycle with Triamid Dancer and you will be battering your enemy to death with those massive attacks.
4. There's also the surrender button.
Best Combo :
- Place Triamid Cruiser
-Normal Summon Triamid Hunter
-Special Summon Adamancipator Researcher
-Excavate - Special Summon Dyna
-Normal Summon Dyna
-Thats it.
It kinda sucks that we have to rely on floodgates at the end of the day, but we play with the card in our hand, and Triamids are some bad cards. Happy dueling.
