Mirrorjade, Dragoon, Light & Darkness Dragon + MORE
Handtraps: You want as much engine in hand as possible, so your handtraps have to be enough to stop the entire turn in one card.
2x Maxx C
2x Droll & Lock Bird
Counters Maxx C and Mulcharmies, on your turn as this build specifically plays around droll on either turn. Also Droll is the most powerful handtrap in the meta right now stopping all sorts of decks.
1x Ash Blossom
Mostly crossout target, but when you get it in hand its never bad.
1x Nibiru
Crossout target, useful in hand for interrupting your opponent but also a good target for Cartesia and other fusion monsters with light requirement.
Boardbreakers:
3x Super Poly Best boardbreaker in the game, uninterruptable, takes at least 2 enemy monsters, and builds a board yourself, Starving Venemy Dragon and take important pieces from Maliss, Mitsugurui, & Orcust, whilst Garuru is strong against White Forest and almost any other deck.
It also helps your board become difficult to interrupt as chaining super poly to your Quem/Cartesia/Albaz takes just about any monsters to build your own board.
Non-Engine:
1x Called By Grave - Use for Ash or Draw Handtraps when you don't have Droll.
1x Crossout Designator - Essentially a second copy of Called By Grave also good into mirror matches.
1x Hex-Light Sealed Fusion - Can be substitued for ANY fusion name. Fallen of Albaz/Cartesia/Dark Magician.
Bystial Engine:
1x The Bystial Lubellion - Sending this card to GY with Granguignol or Saronir is very important if you can't get Quem or Cartesia on field to send Albion The Branded Dragon to GY to get the set on end phase. So if you have Retribution & Branded Fusion in GY, focus on sending Lubellion.
3x Bystial Saronir - Handtrap, but mostly we like it for its ability to send either Retribution/Branded Fusion, when paired with High Spirits, it's full combo. Can be used for most fusions.
0-1x Branded Regained - Adds extra rescursion when you banish which is with a lot of your boss monster effects, it also hurts Maliss. allows extra draws every turn and puts more board pressence. But ultimate I cut Regained for Lost, running both of these cards is a bad idea for consistency, but if you draw this in starting hand, it struggles to have impact, where as starting lost in hand can act as a searcher for your starters.
Dracotail Engine:
2x Dracotail Faimena - Even more powerful of this card is it's ability to every now and again, turn 0 get full Branded combo. If you got Quem in hand and Albaz, you can make Sanctifire, summon back Quem, send any other card to get you ready for your turn, and when they try to build their board, you summon Albaz use their card to make Albion or straight mirrorjade. And thats 2 powerful interruptions on your opponents turn whilst setting up for your own turn, and if they remove Mirrorjade, he clears their entire field on their endphase. It's ridiculous. Worst case scenario you can still make Khaos most of the time and occasionally LDD with Lubellion and Albion in hand.
3x Rahu Dracotail - Essentially searches Faimena, by sending it to GY along with a monster in hand, optimally Saronir or Albion. Then you add Faimena, the cards sent still get combo from being sent to GY and you get a hand-trap Cartesia, which is great for dodging interruption, and helping your endboard once LDD uses all of its negates its got a drawback that it chain-link blocks you from interrupting your opponent. So using this in hand, use LDD and Altharion to make either Khaos for a pop, or Filis Regis for a quick effect banish from field or GY. You also get to set a spell/trap for interruption and reset combo by putting back your Altharion and drawing a card. Powerful one card combo, also makes for great Ash bait.
1x Dracotail Sting - The best trap in my opinion, generates so much advantage. 2 banishes of either spell/trap/monster, then you reset your boss monster back to Extra Deck, then you draw a card. 4 effects in one card.
Despia Engine:
0-1x Branded Opening - Alternative way to summon Quem, but ultimately its just more copies of her, but another card that requires discard fodder is rough with 3 Super Poly. Other than that its GY effect is really good, at most its a one of, and if you don't need it to start, just dump it later to add field protection.
3x Guiding Quem, The Virtuous - Quem Is probably either No.1 or No. 2 best branded card, only beaten by Albion the Shrouded Dragon. The main effect to mill any fallen of albaz or card that mentions it is a perfect starter for the deck. It's second effect to summon any albaz related monster from GY when a card leaves the Extra Deck is so powerful. It allows you to continue to possess a board even if Branded Fusion gets Ash'd because there are more ways to fuse than just that card, allowing you to revive a cartesia or fallen of albaz on your opponents turn to make mirrorjade. Ash Blossom doesn't end Branded's game when Quem is on the field. As if the card could get better, it can also summon back Branded Fusion monsters, like Mirrorjade to do a double banish in a single turn.
Branded Engine:
2x Albion The Shrouded Dragon - The No. 1 Branded card, this card is so underrated, I'm suprised by its lack of play. In hand this card, mills any Branded Spell/Trap or Albaz, then puts itself back to the BOTTOM of the deck. This draw essentially means you'll mostly always draw a fresh card and not another Albion. So why's this the best, it's main effect is all cost. The mill from deck is cost meaning it's uninterractable, the only part that the opponent can interract with is the draw. So its always a +1. If it gets back to the deck and draws its effectively gaining 2 cards for nothing because you lose no cards. And let's say the opponent Ash's or Droll's on the draw. The card just stays in hand. Meaning the opponent goes -1 and you still got your mill effect off so you're +1 and now Albion can be used for just about any and all fusion summons from hand. This card is less efficient in the GY, but ultimately, its never bad no matter where it is.
2x Fallen of Albaz - Main name for the deck's fusions. Can be used sometimes to breakboards when summoned. Can catch the opponent off-guard if combined with Lost. Revivable by Quem.
2x Blazing Cartesia - The best extender for the deck, helps dodge imperm and makes Granguignol to send whatever you didn't have in hand, Lubellion/Saronir/Albion. Adds back to hand each turn a fusion is sent to GY.
2-3x Fusion Deployment - Summons any name to the field, summoning Cartesia/Fallen of Albaz also grants their effects. Can be good for superpoly, just getting a name and body on field makes for great bait. I prefer 2x and not 3x because its a hard once per turn that you really don't want to see 2 of in your hand, especially whilst you run 2 Cartesia anyway.
2x Branded Fusion - Main Fusion Card, designed to use Albaz + anything in your deck to the GY. My personal favourite is Light-Hex + Albaz = Albion - Albion Banishes Light Hex + any Dragon = Dragoon w/ Albion on Field
2x Branded Retribution - Multi-purpose Counter Trap, should be sent to GY in combo to add Branded Fusion back to hand avoiding Droll. But if you set the second copy to field, it can be used to reset Branded Fusion monsters back to Extra Deck whilst negates a special summon and as a counter-trap its basically nie impossible for the opponent to stop, and then at the start of the next turn you used it, re-add Branded Fusion back to the hand again.
EXTRA DECK:
1x Dracotail Altharion - Everyone seems to play this at 2/3 but i prefer dracotail at 1, because once its hit the field and done what you wanted it to, its useless, i'd rather use it for another fusion and reset it back to deck with the dracotail trap card. You get at least 2 uses of this card, 1st time you summon it, set it back and summon it again. The game should really be over by then, but Branded has plenty of grind game cards already, I don't need more bricks.
1x Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon - Made with Hex-Light and any Dragon monster. Doesn't have onfield POP but has the omni-negate and is an incredibly difficult to out card with ramping ATK and untargettability and indestructable.
1x Khaos Starsource Dragon - Another super poly target but more niche, but this card adds to the endboard of your main combo, if you have Faimena in hand and you've burned through all your Light & Darkness Dragon's negates, you will find yourself chain linked blocked from interaction with your opponent when can ruin the game, so I use Faimena quick effect plus any other dragon like Altharion to make this and get a pop out of it.
1x Mirrorjade The Iceblade Dragon - Non-targetting banish. Sends from ED to GY. When removed from field at the end phase destroy all monsters your opponent controls. Super strong boss monster and when paired with Quem, can be reivived to do a second banish in a turn.
0-1x Filia Regis - I like this card instead of other options because it helps out backrow which branded often struggles against and interrupts the opponents GY at quick effect speed, whilst also having recursion. But if you'd prefer another super poly target or anaconda go for it.
1x Albion The Sanctifire Dragon
1x Despian Quaeritis - Makes all monsters other than Lv. 8 or higher fusion monsters to 0, giving a safer out to monsters other than too many effects. When leaves the field, summons either Quem/Albaz.
1-0x Starving Venom Fusion Dragon - Any 2 Darks for Super Poly, gains ATK equal to one monster of the field, making it very good for beating over anyone, can copy the effect of any lv 5 or higher and when destroyed it wipes all opponents special summoned monsters. Really good in the meta right now. It's high ATK/Effect Copy also baits interruption when breaking boards.
1x Titaniklad the Ash Dragon - Gains ATK equal to combined levels of monsters used for its summon. Often 12 = 2500+1200=3700. And is unaffected by ED monsters the turn its summoned, the best card into Dinomorphia. On endphase whilst its in GY you can summon Quem/Albaz. So if you didn't get Quem out, you can still get her at end phase, you just have to plan your High Spirits send off your hand.
0-1x Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon - Best card Vs dragon meta, you can contact summon using fallen of albaz on field + all dragons on field and it gains attacks up to the number of fusion material used. on endphase add 1 polymerization or fusion normal spell. this includes, Branded Fusion/Fusion Deployment. Feels a bit out of meta at the moment, was much better during Blue-eyes Primite.
2x Granguignol the Dusk Dragon - Uses any light or dark. Sends any Bystial/Garura for combos. when your opponent special summons by monster effect summons either Quem/Quaritis.
1-2x Albion the Branded Dragon - Banishes cards from hand, field, GY to fuse a lv. 8 or lower fusion. When in GY it sets a branded spell/trap. Can be tributed for Lubellion.
0-1x Lubellion the Searing Dragon - Puts cards from field, GY or banished back into the deck to fusion. Now days games don't last long enough to have to use this card to recycle resources. So i prefer 2 Albion instead, I send one with High Spirits if i know i can't get Lubellion to tribuite it, or just a spare in case you lose it or it gets negated you can go again.
1x Garura Wings of Resonant Life - Super Poly target to out most decks, when sent to GY draws a card.
1x Light and Darkness Dragonlord - Super powerful card makes for one of the most powerful endboard pieces and has floating effect.
0-1x Mudragon of the swamp - second best super poly target if you feel the meta needs you to run it, do so, if not run something else.
0-1x Despian Luluwalilith - Gives an option if locked from Fusion by DBarrier and very easy to make. If you need more negates for certain floodgates get this card out. It can also find you Quem/Cartesia on End Phase. But i prefer Quartitis for the ATK changing now days everyone plays around negates but not everyone has something to stop their field ATK from reaching 0 every turn.
All combos lead to this endboard:
