Hello, Welcome!
It has been a while. How've y'all been? Anyway, straight into the guide, this deck uses a one card combo starting with T.G. Rocket Salamander to get to a point with 2 level 2s and a link monster to then branch off into multiple combos and variations mainly using sprights. Also this deck took alot of inspo from @crimsonlafiamma, thank you!
Let's start off by talking about the different engines:
T.G. Stuff:
- 3xT.G. Rocket Salamander
- 1xT.G. Screw Serpent
-+ as many ways you want to search salamander(E.g. Bonfire or One for One)
T.G. Rocket Salamander is a one card combo, as previously stated, that allows us to land on any board Nimble Beaver can do (a link 2 and 2 level 2s) but without using their effects. It's only used for summoning Ib the World Chalice Justiciar.
World Chalice stuff:
- 3x Crowned by the World Chalice
- 2-3x World Legacy - "World Chalice"
- 1-2x Lee the World Chalice Fairy
- 1-2x World Chalice Guardragon
- 1x World Legacy Succession
- 1x World Legacy's Sorrow
Extra Deck:
- 1x World Chalice Guardragon Almarduke
- 1x Ib the World Chalice Justiciar
- 1x Lib the World Key Blademaster
- 1x Ib the World Chalice Priestess
- 1x Auram the World Chalice Blademaster
- 1x Imduk the World Chalice Dragon
- 1x Gravity Controller
This is the bulk of the combo (before the sprights come in) since the unbanning of Ib the World Chalice Justiciar the T.G. Rocket Salamander has been possible (with credit to @crimsonlafiamma) combo time!:
1 Card combo with T.G. Rocket Salamander:
Get T.G. Rocket Salamander on field > Tribute itself; summon T.G. Screw Serpent from the deck (yes T.G. Screw Serpent is a garnet) > on summon T.G. Screw Serpent summons back T.G. Rocket Salamander, negating its effects > synchro both T.G. Screw Serpent and T.G. Rocket Salamander into Ib the World Chalice Justiciar in the extra monster zone (otherwise th combo wont work) > Ib the World Chalice Justiciar triggers on summon, to add World Legacy - "World Chalice" to your hand > link Ib the World Chalice Justiciar into Gravity Controller (for a downwards pointing arrow) > when Ib the World Chalice Justiciar is sent from the field to the GY, it can summon Crowned by the World Chalice (or any normal "world chalice monster) > link the normal monster into Imduk the World Chalice Dragon > Imduk the World Chalice Dragon allows us to normal summon another "world chalice" monster, tribute the Gravity Controller to normal summon the World Legacy - "World Chalice" > ... This goes onto many variations, usually starting off by linking the 2 into a link-2 monster.
This is the "bread and butter" combo allowing us to branch off into many different variations. However I'll talk about them later.
Sprights(I did promise a spright deck) + nimbles and melffy(because I like the cute animals):
- 1-3x Spright Blue
- 1-3x Spright Jet
- 0-2x Spright Red
- 0-2x Spright Carrot
- 2-3x Nimble Beaver
- 1-2x Nimble Angler
- 0-1x Melffy Catty
- 0-1x Melffy Pinny
- 1-3x Spright Starter
- 0-2x Spright Smashers
- 1x Spright Double Cross
Extra deck:
- 1-2x Gigantic Spright
-1x Spright Sprind
- 0-1x Melffy of the Forest
These allow us to establish a board and, (somewhat) play around Nibiru, the Primal Being by keeping our extenders like Spright Starter in hand, incase we hard draw into it (even if it's a %33.5 ish to draw).
continuing off from earlyer, COMBO TIME!:
we landed on a board containing Imduk the World Chalice Dragon and World Legacy - "World Chalice".
Link off Imduk the World Chalice Dragon and World Legacy - "World Chalice" into Auram the World Chalice Blademaster > (if you have any "world chalice" monsters in hand Imduk the World Chalice Dragon can summon themfor an extra body otherwise,) World Legacy - "World Chalice" can summon out any 2 "world chalice" monsters except itself > let's summon Lee the World Chalice Fairy and Chosen by the World Chalice for this
combo > Lee the World Chalice Fairy can add another World Legacy - "World Chalice" (for next turn follow up) > and since they're both level 2, overlay Chosen by the World Chalice and Lee the World Chalice Fairy for Gigantic Spright > detatch Lee the World Chalice Fairy from Gigantic Spright; to summon Spright Blue from the deck > Spright Blue triggers to add Spright Jet > special summon Spright Jet > Spright Jet triggers on special summon to add a Spright Double Cross (interuption 1) > link Spright Blue and Spright Jet into Spright Sprind > Spright Sprind triggers on special summon, send a Nimble Angler to the GY > Nimble Angler effect in GY, summoning 2 Nimble Beavers from the deck > overlay both Nimble Beavers into Melffy of the Forest > detatch one material from Melffy of the Forest; add Melffy Catty from the deck to your hand (interuption 2) > link the Gigantic Spright and Melffy of the Forest into an I:P Masquerena (interuption 3) > use the detatched Lee the World Chalice Fairys effect in the GY to send the Spright Sprind to the GY (to free up space for the Spright Double Cross) or you can keep Spright Sprind so you still have the Auram the World Chalice Blademaster for next turn, BUT you'll need to think ahead because double cross won't be available untill you link into S:P Little Knight.
This end board ends on: I:P Masquerena, Melffy Catty (ready to make Herald of the Arc Light), and a potential steal using Spright Double Cross. Overall this board is just a basic spright endboard, but it can throw off your opponent. If you want to make this end board - just play a regualr spright deck.
It's (at least) %90 easier.
Another endboard (that sprights can't make) is:
Link off Imduk the World Chalice Dragon and World Legacy - "World Chalice" into Auram the World Chalice Blademaster > (if you have any "world chalice" monsters in hand Imduk the World Chalice Dragon can summon themfor an extra body otherwise,) World Legacy - "World Chalice" can summon out any 2 "world chalice" monsters except itself > Lee the World Chalice Fairy(summoned to an arrow Auram the World Chalice Blademaster points to) and Chosen by the World Chalice are summoned > Lee the World Chalice Fairy can add World Chalice Guardragon > Auram the World Chalice Blademaster can send Lee the World Chalice Fairy to the GY; summon Ib the World Chalice Justiciar > use Lee the World Chalice Fairys effect in the GY to discard World Chalice Guardragon; and add back Lee the World Chalice Fairy > banish World Chalice Guardragon; summon back Crowned by the World Chalice > link both Crowned by the World Chalices into Spright Sprind > Spright Sprind triggers on special summon, send a Nimble Angler to the GY > Nimble Angler effect in GY, summoning 2 Nimble Beavers from the deck > synchro summon F.A. Dawn Dragster using a Nimble Beaver and Ib the World Chalice Justiciar (interuption 1) > overlay the other Nimble Beaver and into Gigantic Spright > detatch a Nimble Beaver from Gigantic Spright; to summon Spright Blue from the deck > Spright Blue triggers to add Spright Jet > special summon Spright Jet > Spright Jet triggers on special summon to add a Spright Double Cross (interuption 2) > go into Melffy of the Forest using the 2 level 2s > detatch 1 to add a Melffy Catty > link Gigantic Spright and Melffy of the Forest into I:P Masquerena.
It's just the same combo but with different steps and ends with an extra spell/trap negate :3.
this time let's use World Chalice Guardragon Almarduke to clear our field and make space and help push for game (this time you need another "world chalice" monster in hand) Ill use Chosen by the World Chalice just to show you that this can be achieved by any extra body:
Get T.G. Rocket Salamander on field > Tribute itself; summon T.G. Screw Serpent from the deck (yes T.G. Screw Serpent is a garnet) > on summon T.G. Screw Serpent summons back T.G. Rocket Salamander, negating its effects > synchro both T.G. Screw Serpent and T.G. Rocket Salamander into Ib the World Chalice Justiciar in the extra monster zone (otherwise th combo wont work) > Ib the World Chalice Justiciar triggers on summon, to add World Legacy - "World Chalice" to your hand > link Ib the World Chalice Justiciar into Gravity Controller (for a downwards pointing arrow) > when Ib the World Chalice Justiciar is sent from the field to the GY, it can summon Crowned by the World Chalice (or any normal "world chalice monster) > link the normal monster into Imduk the World Chalice Dragon > Imduk the World Chalice Dragon allows us to normal summon another "world chalice" monster, tribute Imduk the World Chalice Dragon to normal summon the World Legacy - "World Chalice" > Imduk the World Chalice Dragon effect in GY to summon Chosen by the World Chalice (or any extra body) > link World Legacy - "World Chalice" and the extra body into Ib the World Chalice Priestess > World Legacy - "World Chalice" can summon out any 2 "world chalice" monsters except itself > as usuall we'll summon out Lee the World Chalice Fairy and Crowned by the World Chalice > Lee the World Chalice Fairy effect to add a World Legacy Guardragon > link the non-link monsters into Lib the World Key Blademaster > use Lib the World Key Blademasters effect to set World Legacy's Sorrow from the deck > Lee the World Chalice Fairy to send World Chalice Guardragon and add itself from GY to hand > banish World Chalice Guardragon; summon Crowned by the World Chalice from the GY > Ib the World Chalice Priestess and Chosen by the World Chalice can be linked off to make Spright Sprind > Spright Sprind triggers on special summon> Ib the World Chalice Priestess, when sent to GY, specials a "world chalice" monster fromhand > chain like so:
chain link 1 Spright Sprind
chain link 2 Ib the World Chalice Priestess
RESOLVE:
summon Lee the World Chalice Fairy > send a Nimble Angler to the GY > Nimble Angler effect in GY, summoning 2 Nimble Beavers from the
deck > tribute all 3 link monsters ( Gravity Controller, Lib the World Key Blademaster and Spright Sprind) to summon out World Chalice Guardragon Almarduke > and just freestyle the rest A.K.A spright stuff C: to end up on a slightly fuller board
NOTES:
=>All of these boards can end with at least an I:P Masquerena, and Melffy Catty (for Herald of the Arc Light) when you sucsessfully get a sprind on board.
=> World Legacy - "World Chalice" can banish itself next turn to add a World Legacy Succession, this can re-summon a link-2 "world chalice" monster as an extra body
Other engines you can play:(because I need to fill up the world count :/ )
Swap Frog --> Toadally Awesome:
-3x Swap Frog
-1x Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier
-1x Freezing Chains of the Ice Barrier
Extra Deck:
-1x Toadally Awesome
a small and sweet engine that can be used to nib-proof any combos, it functions as such:
normal summon (or special summon by discarding a WATER monster) Swap Frog > on summon it can send an aqua monster from deck to GY, send Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier > Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier adds Freezing Chains of the Ice Barrier when it's sent to the GY > activate Freezing Chains of the Ice Barrier, on activation you can summon back Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier > overlay Swap Frog and Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier into Toadally Awesome.
Nib-proof checklist:
under 5 summons - Yes
stops nib if over 5 summons - Yup
Combo is certified nib-proof C:
Adventure engine!:(I geuss it kinda fith the theme?)
-0-3x Speedroid Terrortop
-0-1x Speedroid Taketomborg
-1-3x Water Enchantress of the Temple
-1x Wandering Gryphon Rider
-1-3x Rite of Aramesir(play more than the amount of Water Enchantress of the Temple you have)
-1x Fateful Adventure
-1x Dracoback, the Rideable Dragon
This is an option...
The combo is:
Activate Rite of Aramesir, special summon an adventure token and activate Fateful Adventure from deck > special summon a monster; triggers Fateful Adventure, add Dracoback, the Rideable Dragon to hand > activate the 2nd effect of Fateful Adventure, add Wandering Gryphon Rider, discard Dracoback, the Rideable Dragon > Dracoback, the Rideable Dragon can equip from GY to the adventure token > since you control an adventure tokem, special summon Wandering Gryphon Rider.
This is great if you're going 2nd, in theory:
GOOD:
1 - you get a negate and bounce
BAD:
1 - you can't activate the effects of any normal summoned monsters(no more T.G. Rocket Salamander)
2 - if you ARE going 2nd you can be negated at any time stopping the combo at any time
Kashtira:
-3x Kashtira Unicorn
-2-3x Kashtira Fenrir
-0-2x Scareclaw Kashtira
-0-2x Kashtira Riseheart
-1x Kashtira Birth
-1x Kashtira Big Bang
Extra deck:
-1x Kashtira Shangri-Ira
-+ any rank 7s you want
-+ any level 8 or 12 synchros (for T.G. Rocket Salamander and Ib the World Chalice Justiciar)
A moderate rank 7 engine that can be used for well... rank 7s while using the tuners we have to make some off-level synchros (+ F.A. Dawn Dragster can be used for rank 7s too... for follow up)
I don't really play kashtira so... try searching 'kashtira combos' on google (i stole this engine off of another deck by Hector Orellana's, YCS Vegas profile cutting the field spell and theosis)
Anyway thats about 2000 words, time for the conclusion. Overall this deck is a fun deck to play, the T.G.s and world chalice are surprisingly functional together and allowing Chosen by the World Chalice to bridge into sprights gives this deck a really fun and somewhat quirky playstyle(but then again this is sprights with extra steps). The 1 card T.G. Rocket Salamander combo is very imperssive and can make a decent end board. The variability of the deck keeps your opponent on their feet to predict what you're going to do next. HOWEVER this deck runs out of gas really quickly, and - much like some spright decks - uses far too many materials to play only 40 cards without burning out and I had to do ALOT of cutting and condensing to get this to 40 cards - so play more, also it's less of a chance to draw bricks(but it's far more painful when you do). This deck dosn't play many handtraps because it's too tight to change ratios. All that being said, play this deck how you want and let me know any other lines you find, it'll help others that wish to play this bizzare deck. Thank you for reading!! :3
